Fun game! Love the pixel art. Cells are cute, implied minimal environments are perfect. Nice animations. Moving around feels fun and responsive. A bit hard to tell when I'm landing a hit on an enemy cell, and how much damage is being done by enemies. Fading yellow circles appear all over the place during combat in later levels, and I don't understand what they are.

Spending the cells is a nice thematic touch.

This has some similarities to my game in the Compo, heh.

@trevor-shoe cheers for checking it out! The fading circles will most likely be the special enemy that does an AoE attack on later levels!

The game is very well-made, graphics is great, and concept unique. I like the idea of multiplying yourself and then using that as currency. The attacking is hard to tell whether I'm actually hitting them or not, also I am unable to tell if I'm killing them or not either. The game difficulty as you get into the harder levels are a little too hard and needs to be lower. other than these I like your game very much.

Really fun to play! A little confusing as to what you're supposed to do, and what effect you have once you start spawning all those little guys. I'm not sure i understood the little loading screen between levels either. But I really like the visuals and the overall idea is very unique.

The music, visuals and the idea of the game are awesome !! Really fun to play though a bit difficult to understand the mechanics, who to chase, what we can do with all the cells and the menu inbeetween level is confusing but otherwise the idea is neat =D

Nice idea and it follows nicely with the theme. Combat mechanics felt bit stiff and I didn't really get when did my player hit the enemy other cells or not.

Great visuals, nice idea.
Few nitpicks:
- it's not really clear if you managed to hit the enemy or not. Some feedback animation would be nice (or even a damage number)
- some enemies take a long time to kill and the player character seems to be immortal (?), so you just end up standing in one place hitting space until you win

Really cool. Beautiful, consistent graphics and sound. I found the way you attack a bit confusing/unreliable, but apart from that it's great.

Solid entry, love the general concept. The graphics, especially the environment are quite good looking. I got surprised when I saw more enemies, didn't expect to see more then one, so good job on that. One, I wish there was a health indicator and better player feedback, not too sure if I'm taking or dealing damage, but that aside, really enjoyable.

Finally I found out the time you attack depends on when you press down the space, rather than when the animation ends, which is quite confusing.

Really nice pixel arts and happy to see the cells jumping at the title. So cute! Music sounds great too. The concept of consuming the minions to exchange ability is quite similar to ours.

Here are some feedback:

- Some clearer tutorials might be needed. I even didn't know what the red guys was when I first played.

- The death judgement doesn't looks working well cause when I think I'm killed, I sometimes enter the next level, sometimes get stuck with nothing able to do and sometimes return to main menu successfully but without data cleared when I start a new game.

- The level design is weird. I was still eating pink cells with no force on the last level and suddenly got killed by dozens of steel guys in the next level.

- Ability system doesn't look working well too. Sometimes I consume less than expected to get the abilities. Sometimes my number of minions become negative.

Enjoyable in spite of those!

(sorry for my poor English cause I'm not living in a English speaking country :)

Loved the visuals and music! Also, the mechanic of the game felt great!. The idea of multiplying cells, the upgrades and everything in general I really enjoyed a lot. Congrats on the team Submission for LD-44, Cheers!

The concept is really good and the visual style of the game is great too. It has some performance issues though. Also the balancing is a bit weird, I suddently had to face hundreds of Steel slimes al level 3 or 4. Good game overall, it just needs some tweaking :p

Background music is great! The attacking is bit hard, but once you get more minions it is fine because they do all the work instead of you. Overall good game! :)

This was so good! It just seemed to hard when the steel stingy blobs appeared, I was over-powered the previous rounds and all of sudden those blobs killed my whole army that haven't really tried to fight back for some reason. But I loved the graphics and the idea a lot!

Great idea. I really love this game. It's fascinating. It's easy to play, but it really fits the theme. There seems to be a slight problem in judging the attack, which makes it not so easy to manipulate

Great Game! Although I have one problem with the collisions around the map. Sometimes I find myself stuck even if my character wasn't touching a rock or something. But it was Fun! Could use an in game tutorial though.

Nice idea wasnt really sure how to attack efficently but it was fun never the less. Would have bin nice to get some dos and donts or some hints sometimes. But it was a fun game even if i did not know what i was doing keep up the good work.

The game looks and plays really nice, but at first I didn't know what I should do. Tutorial would be great. Also at later stages it started to lag and my cells stopped moving so I couldn't progress beacouse the time was running out. Bout overall the game is really nice!
