Although, you being a heartless bastard aside, well done. Didn't expect any of it :)
But on a more tecnical side : I have a few feedbacks that I would like to give to you about the game. I actually quite liked the overall idea, the game sucessfully shows a gold-fish's life and I kinda felt like the world was small and simple while playing this game, so that a great work on the atmosphere of the game. The phrases that appear are quite funny to read and add up nicely to the overall experience. On a bad side, I didn't really feel like the Feed button was part of the game, the first time I played, I stayed paused, trying to understand if the game froze or not. But when i accidentaly clicked the button and understood that it belonged to the game, the rest made sense. Also, I'm not quite sure how many people actually worked on this, but anyway, I feel like it would have been better if there was some type of animation on the background going on, like making the curtain move a little bit by the wind you know? Make the background feel more alive. Other than that, it's a great concept and it has been a nice experience :)
Graphics are very good although I must say that the way you've drawn Fishy McFishface is quite menacing and there should probably be some kind of warning in case any small children should see the game being played.
It took me quite a long time to understand the feed button, I kept clicking frantically within the game view wondering if this is some kind of Hidden Object game.
Maybe the feed button could be moved into the game view and behave differently from the rest of the screen? That way people would know it's all they can do in the game and start sitting back & relax.
@jk5000 - Glad you enjoyed it! :D
@RafaelSPBarbosa - Great points, totally agree! Originally the button was part of the main screen (it was the fish food icon that is on the Title Screen) but because of time constraints it didn't make the final cut. Darn time constraints! Next LD we will plan a little better, this was our first one. :) I love the idea about the curtain moving. In the original plan the fish blew little bubbles now and then, so that would add to the alive feeling as well, I think. Stuff to consider for some future version!
@Richard-Michael-Smith - I didn't think about the small kid aspect, good call! Maybe we need a disclaimer on the title screen or something. :)
@avavt - Yep, spot on advice. The feed button was planned to be inside the main screen but a frantic rush to the deadline didn't allow us to move it there. For a future version we'll definitely do that and make it clearer!
I really like the messages, they are really funny and made me attached to the fish.
The artstyle is really nice, but I would have liked a bit of animation when you have to wait for the clock.
While it took me a bit to figure out to press the feed button, clicking the deceased fish (#NeverForgetSenorFishy) to get a new one didn't occur to me until refreshing and playing with Mr. Fishy a second time...
The little messages are fun to see and I looked forward to seeing what Mr Fishy was thinking. Nice job!
I was sadly betrayed by Senor Fishy and tranq'ed by the FBI but enjoyed our time together :)
I had to play this a couple of time to make sure I didn't miss anything. I liked the various endings and the relaxing music (although it is a bit repetetive after some time^^)
@halfskye - That's the plan. This game jam was a jumping off point for the two of us and we're now excited to keep going with more game creation. :)
@fatpenguin - Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, it does get a little repetitive. Our hope is in a future version there will be more to see and do so you don't come across the same 10 things over and over, lol. Onward!
Thanks for playing everyone, we appreciate all the comments and feedback. Going to keep at it and try to make the game better, more in depth, and less buggy.

(this was great, I really enjoyed all the different events. Nice work!)
