The controls and collision detection are a paint though. Running, jumping and stuff feel really sluggish and I got stuck in the ventilation a couple of times. I had some serious issues with the controls though, they were very unresponsive and I continually found myself getting stuck on objects that I don't think I should have been getting stuck on, as well as the jump being very inconsistent and didn't seem to register most of the time I pressed the button. \nI think this was meant to be a puzzle platformer, but the speed at which you moved made me think I had to race through the level which led to me dying frequently and not understanding why at first. A few more hours of polish to the controls and level design and you would have a pretty decent game. Really good job on the art style though, my first reaction to your screenshot was 'woah that looks cool' which doesn't always happen with jam games. The sfx is maybe not the most fitting but it's funny. The concept is smart and funny, and it's also a good take on the theme. The only drawback is the slightly buggy mechanics (including the Captain suddenly becoming the Flash when climbing stairs) and the level design that could be a bit improved.
