PunCha-Ching Bag by Ryan Brenner
Your intergalactic overlord has scanned the galaxy searching for resources needed to continue the survival of your alien race. He has discovered a tiny, feeble planet called "earth" that seems to be abundant in these resources, and he has decided to send you, one of the most loyal and feared members of his military, to scout the planet. Upon your arrival, you are terrified to realize that the inhabitants of this world also hold this resource in very high regard. Somehow, possibly due to your appearance, it doesn't take long at all for them to become hostile and come after you. Can you defend yourself long enough to gather the resources your people desperately need?

This was my second Ludum Dare game (check out Potty Panic!), my third game jam game, and my first solo game.

@youpeoples @rosypenguin Thank you for playing! I think I might have made the game a taaaad bit too difficult. But I also think it's really funny when you get completely surrounded and beaten by a circle of ~~children~~ adults.
@egawag Thank you so much! I'm not an artist but I'm really happy with how the graphics came out :smiley:
@dan-colman Thank you!
@arimie Thanks for playing!
No really, it's a good premise and the graphics are great, wish the walk speed was a little faster though. Also there isn't much skill to punching, maybe a block button?
@twowolf Thanks so much!
The gameplay is simple but a really great idea, has a lot of potential, and the art and music fit well.
Thank you all so much for the feedback. It's greatly appreciated. Next time I will make sure to try to balance the difficulty better :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Thanks for playing!
I love the art style and with a little tweaking I think it could be even more fun! :)
I loved the art, and the dead bodies were a pretty great touch.
I also like how some enemies will pop up and go for the coins, instead of attacking you.
Simple game, but lots of interesting concepts here. The enemies can gang up on you very easily, however.
