Ant Domination by Wakobu

Welcome aboard :skull_crossbones:
We are pleased to present you our first game and it’s untitled Ant Domination because you play a GIANT ant and you’ve to conquer the small Earth \^o^/ There are cities that auto develop by building buildings. There are four types of buildings: -House: weak and increase city’s development by 1 -Skyscrapper: tough and increase by 2 -Nuclear Plant: increase all building’s increases by 1 -Military Base: launch homing missiles to the ant. The amount of damages depends of the city’s development
You can hurt buildings by hit them (the more violent, the best) or by crush them in your mandibles (space key (and strange sound))
Each time you destroy a building you earn +1 score. The game stops when you die. Do the best score :)
We used Unity Engine. We used royalty free sounds, models and animations ; we have not the graphist's spirit :(
I know the result is not very fancy but we have had many organisational problem Hope you'll enjoy anyway ;)
Have fun !

And the gameplay only consists of making small model buildings fly around to make a number go up on screen. Without any sort of opposition, as far as I could see at least, the game just feels like it has no goal, and the mechanics alone aren't engaging enough on their own.
This game needs a lot of polish and fleshing out, because right now it feels like an early prototype, not a finished 3-day team effort.
I liked the missils, it add some difficult to the game, but it could be more things in order to make you feel tht you have to have a strategy.
What the game misses? I'd say a tutorial, as the game is confusing on controls of the camera and the game. Of course you can always add more depth, improve generator of the cities, etc ... but every jam has some time frame and you have to fit in it.
Here is our game(I'm not the one who published it directly, so you can't just click on my account): https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/plutiny
The cities does normally rebuild itself. Idk :/
