Controls:

Move left and right with arrow keys or "A" or "D" Press "up" or "w" to use shops. Press Spacebar to jump.

Objective:

Get to spaceship and leave planet.
Collect money to stay alive. Collect money to get a cooler hat!

Story:

This world has gone bad and for some reason only money can keep you alive. For some reason every action tends to result in losing money though, so you need to act fast and get off this horrible planet! Everyone has given into greed and bought top hats to prove it. Don't lose you hat! These are special hats that grow along with your bank accounts.

This was a short fun game. I enjoyed your audio clips.

The player movement felt a bit stiff. The acceleration for the player was really slow.

enemies were pretty odd to interact with and I agree the movement was stiff. The audio was great though!

The audio in this game is easily the best part. It's fantastic to have voice acting in a game jam game. The premise of the game is interesting, but the execution falls a bit flat since you can skip past all the buildings, grab the money and leave. There's an interesting idea here I would like to see more fleshed out.

Very funny, I love the sound effects. Not enough challenge and controls are a bit finicky, but I just can't get over those sfx

Wow those sound effects make the whole game. Getting a gigantic top hat was cool. You definitely show off the theme pretty well. The only thing I would say is that it is a bit too short/easy, but overall very fun.

One thing to criticize is that the movement felt clunky. Otherwise this was great.

The movement is kinda janky, and some visual effects when you use a building would add a lot. But the sounds are hilarious and the overall concept is fun. Nicely done!

The movement is a little strange but I really got a kick out of the vibe and the audio. Making your top hat grow in height with your money is quite a strange idea but I definitely enjoyed that. Great job!
