Drift'N'Run by feips

[raw]
made by feips for LD 41 (COMPO)

Drift and Run is (should be) a Car/Stealth Game. (it's pretty lacking at the stealth part though, it's more of an action(?)) game. Your goal is to complete all missions. WASD/Arrow keys to steer, Space for Slo-Mo

Important! The game currently doesn't work on higher aspect ratios than 16:9 (it works on lower ratios though), I will try to fix it as soon as I can.

This game features: - terrible graphics (my artist's laptop broke) - no music (again, my artist's laptop broke) - little to no Stealth - pretty cool drifting and driving mechanics actually - 12 mission newDriftthingfdsa.gif

The sides of the map are cut off, making it kind of hard to see where I'm going.

The car is really insane. You should teach him how to behave :D But overall good fun:D

I really like this, as the car mechanics works well with the action style. A few things: when the car reverses, the steering should be inverted. Also, turning speed should scale with the speed a bit. Finally, I want to use space/arrows to start/change missions so I can keep my hands on the keyboard!

I really like the concept, but the car is so hard to control. And the reverse controls are backwards which kept tripping me up.

What a cool game! Loved it! Graphics are not terrible. Or maybe they are, but they tell what they have to tell very clearly. The car physics is very nice (except for the reverse as others mentioned). The levels are really well-designed, nicely progressing as new gameplay elements are introduced.

One little suggestion: if the game is completely played with the keyboard, please don't make me reach the mouse whenever I die just to try again. (I least, I couldn't find a way to go through the "you are death" and "play again" screens with the keyboard. -- oh, looks like @radical-dog suggested this also :-) )

Congrats! Nicely done!
