This game was pretty fun; been a while since I've played anything resembling just going through a dungeon and getting treasure. The visual style was simple, but nice, and I liked the sound effects. The controls could use a little fine-tuning, as it feels like the character takes forever to get going, but then they're flying. Also, I noticed that if you go back through a door, the room is completely different; was this intentional?

@coldfire83 Thanks! Yeah I noticed the controls needed tightening up which is on my list to do for a post ld release. Also rooms being completely different is very much intentional

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Neat game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/8T98Y6n8oZk

I miss more walking/running animations in the main player sprite. Love the black and white pixel graphics though. The sound is a bit harsh after playing it for a while

@jupiter-hadley Thank you very much for taking the time out to play it!

@velvetlobster If I had a bit more time for it I probably would have added some animations. Though I will be adding them and changing up the soundfx on a full post-LD release of the game.

Looks definitely like something I would buy on steam, looking forward to your full post LD release

Cool art, and I like the idea of it. Are the levels random, or randomly chosen from a curated list? There was quite a bit of variety which was nice. Physics were pretty unforgiving, but it's cool that the player character is so fast, 'cause I could see getting quite good at zipping through if someone played a lot. I did end up for a little while just going in and out of the edge of one screen to try to farm some of the easier levels. ;) Overall though this is pretty cool, and I'd be interested to see how the high skill cap on the movement could turn out. Some of the loot names made me chuckle too. =)

Good game, but the sound effects were a bit annoying sometimes
