Hey, you don't have any world borders.

I'm don't see any progress in game by killing enemies.

Game ends to suddenly.

Sounds and graphics is well done. Well done.

@Serious07 Yeah, ran out of time on that one. No progress apart from surviving I guess. :D

Thanks for the review too!

I was quickly overwhelmed by the number of enemies. Maybe tone that down a bit? Otherwise, solid entry.

@jeplmr Yeah, I should have balanced that out a bit more as with it reduced by too much, it was easy just to run circles round them. Thanks for the advice and review!

I really love that other players are way bigger and stronger than me - It's reminiscent of other MMOs :)

@Matthew Roelle Thanks! Was really going for that MMO but without the mutliplayer, massive or online feel. ;)

Game looks really nice and the genre combination definitely conflict.

The gameplay could of used a bit more work as it was just kite until you inevitably die. A timer of how long you survived could of made it a challenge.

This sounds like soooo much fun. Will you be doing a web or Mac build sometime?

Good job on your first Ludum Dare! The "account login" to start the game gave me a chuckle. It's nicely polished for a simple game. It would be great to see you expand upon it in the future. :) I honestly found it pretty hard, I felt like I wanted to move faster to be able to kite the other players into a group to smack away at them!

Edit: And make sure to include your source code for the compo entry!

@pandademic42 I'm afraid due to needing a license to create osx builds or having to buy a $149 module for web builds with GM2 neither will be coming soon but the sourcecode is freely available if you want to open it up in Gamemaker 2 for yourself and mess around with it? Sorry about that.

But there are loads of other games on LudumDare currently waiting to be played with on the upside! :D

Hey InventorOfStuff. Congrats on your first game. I like the conflicting genres and premise. The fighting is a bit hard (virtually impossible) though.

@RadioactiveRambo Ey man! Yeah, more of a meme for the theme game.

Although I do admit the combat could be balanced a bit more. :D

I like how the level highlighted the frustration you can have by playing PVP alone. Its why my MMO experiences are normally questing with a buddy.

You did a great job for your first game jam. I look forward to seeing future games you make.

Nice first game! But it's pretty though. There could be more variety of enemies, but we all know the deadline for the compo does approach faster than anticipated.

Not gonna repeat anything others have already said. The collision boxes feel really unforgiving, I think they should be smaller. Good job and good luck in the future.

Good job on your first game. Aiming with the mouse and attacking with space-bar felt a little weird, but the game itself was pretty simple :v:

If you get time, feel free to check out my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/breacard

It was pretty satisfying to let the enemies bunch up and murder them all at once. The collision boxes were bad even for an MMO sim though. ;) I think my max survival time was 40 seconds, and liked the humor mixed in. Did anyone check the options too? :)
