Hmm. The "dudes" look suspiciously like Lucas from Mother 3. Coincidence~?

Anyway, I think the difficulty needed tweaking. It wasn't immediately clear that the icebergs were melting, making my first few losses rather confusing until I realized what was happening. Some sounds would have helped convey that.

Overall it was a neat little romp. I really like your helicopter, it looks really great.

Great little game! I think the mechanic (with dropping the guys off on larger icebergs) was great. I would have played more levels if you had made them!

A fun little game that uses a game mechanic inspired from the traveling salesman problem. Sometimes you have to drop people off on larger (but still sinking) icebergs to save them all. Sadly the game is only three levels long, which means a player can finish it under 2 minutes. I would have loved to play more, as it is an interesting take on the traveling salesman problem.
Great art, but no music. Overall pretty fun and challenging, but too short.

The graphics were super cute!!! Kudos! I managed to beat all the levels, although the last one was tricky! Once I realized the bounding box was bigger than expected for the helicopter it got a bit easier.

Really nice idea. I saved them all :) The art stile is very nice and I would love to see some more. The sound/music would be a great addition (but honestly I can live without it). Overall great job!

YEAH! finally a good pixel art entry!!
gotta say I really enjoyed the gameplay. simple but effective. some levels were a bit too hard (especially the first couple of lvls). solid entry tho, good job!

The artwork is amazing, very fitting to the game! The game overall is good, a straightforward puzzler, just a little short! Overall good job! :ok_hand:

Simple, clean and fun. Like the concept and graphics that fit pretty good on it. Guess need a lil more stuff for challenge. Keep it up you got it ! Good job.

Very simple but good mechanic, i thought the levels where a bit hard for the average gamer, timings too tight.
Art is awesome fits the theme perfectly.

Really enjoyed the game. It's really hard though, could have started with easier levels to warm the player up. The accuracy is also a bit frustrating. Overall it has potential!

I really like the idea and what you created around it.

Nice pixel art gaphics and ingenuous little puzzle. I missed a piece of music to go with that all, but this is already good as it is!

I enjoyed this puzzle game. My only gripe with it is that there needs to be more room for error as it can be quite difficult to get the execute your strategy flawlessly. Also putting some sort of indicator over the helicopter when you can drop off the little dudes would be helpful. A fun game though, and it fits the theme.

Was a bit hard to hit the mark on dropping and picking up, also didn't understand that I could drop of dudes at bigger icebergs, but I can see that this brings a good mechanic to the game and makes it shine as a puzzler! The game would have been a bit more amazing with some stock soundeffects! Great job never the less! Cheerz!

Hey fellow iceberg game! I love the effect of the sinking ice, it looks amazing for 2D (we had to rely on 3D for our stuff). The game is simple but I liked how you really playtested it a lot and made the levels have tight requirements. A couple obstacles to make the problemsolving a tad more challenging would've been cool but I really like the challenge presented in the game already. Nice work!

A bit hard, but I liked it! Needs some music/sound effects. Timings are tight. A few more levels would have been nice.

It was hard to aim at first, but then I got it. And seems mouse works too. I see it uses wasm but could you share more details about the development?

Here is my playthrough: :helicopter:

@icxon man!... i just noticed that you are the creator of Protolife (I didn't test it yet, i know, i know... but it definitely looks like something that i will like to play). And... after that i realize that your game was born in LD38. That's... Impressive.
Thanks for the playthrough! we know that it needs tons of work, but we are pretty happy with the result.
The game was made with Godot, i and @spelufo worked on Aseprite, to make the art; and the rest of the team learned and used godot, the same day.

Thank you all for playing our game, we are going to test and comment every single one of your games too.

Great graphics!! I found it very difficult, but easier to play in full screen. One suggestion I have is more feedback when pressing Space to ensure that you picked up the dude (maybe a sound effect?).

@lyxil we are happy knowing that you liked the graphics. We tried showing the dude in the upper middle of the screen but because we were on a tight schedule we weren't able to, the same with the sound effects. If we make a full release of the game we are sure to make those changes, Thanks for the feedback and if you find anything else be sure to let us know :D!

Fun idea! I liked the puzzle element of it--placing dudes on bigger ice blocks to buy some time--but the timing needed was so tight i couldn't tell if my strategy was wrong or it was right and i just had to do it faster. Good game, though!

Hey ! Nice little game with good grpahics :)
I wish it had sounds and a more levels though

It's really funny because we had exactly the same idea of gameplay : save persons from island before they drown haha. Check out my game if you wish to ;)

This was short but sweet, good job! Cute graphics and the difficulty was just right. Having to try a level a couple of times before beating it didn't bother me at all because each try only took a couple of seconds. I was sad when it was over, would love to play more of this! :)

Just echoing what others had said. Obviously would benefit from some sound, but the graphics and puzzle elements were neat. It wasn't immediately apparent to me how I was supposed to rescue them. I was intuitively thinking that I was going to lower a basket or something which meant I was always above the dudes. I thought my spacebar wasn't working.

Once I got it, I really enjoyed the puzzle. The third level took an extra try to get the pattern, but overall it works well. I know you mentioned you weren't going to expand it, but if there were some other obstacles that would be neat. I don't know how much more you could do with just the melting icebergs.

Well done!

Very nice game, quite hard and estressful, but the controlls worked perfectly so it wasnt a problem. The pixel art was good, missing some sound an music but very good game overall.
