This game is fun! It felt challenging and I liked your take on the theme. Great work on the art too!

Just to be sure I understand and help others who play, the object of the game is to avoid being hit three times for as long as possible, right? Well done and nicely simple game.

I like the art in this game. The controls are very responsive and pleasing to use. The music and sounds fit well with the rest of the game's theme. I feel like playing this would improve my reaction time! Overall, very cool. Keep it up :)

I love the menu animation!

I like the way the music feels more frantic after each time you get hit.

Such a simple concept but works perfectly for the theme. I'm finding the art quite jarring to look at, I think it's the background being so textured and repetitive. Kind of fun but challenging too.

well done. very fast and the music builds the intensity well. I kept hoping I'd pick up one of the things on the floor, or I could go back for my coins... mayb version 2 :)

First off Congrats! on putting in an entry. That alone is an amazing accomplishment and be proud that you did that. Anyways it seems to me that you could have really dug into the theme a bit more. It seemed that simply making the life currency while it did work was just a minor art change. It still works and I know the theme was hard to make gameplay level changes but next time remember that. The enemy's are simple but work well. Although the enemy coming down seems like a football player lol. The music is good. Art was good. Definitely very fun to play.

I dunno if it was just me but the music started really loud. Good, just... loud. lol

The gameplay is basic, had to read the about/help sections to make sure I wasn't missing anything -- That aside, with a few more mechanics it would actually be quite solid. Art/sound aren't bad themselves.

Nice pixel art, the loot goblin reminds me of an Argonian

I would've really loved to be able to pick up more coins and retrieve the ones I've lost.
You can keep the intensity of it by making coins dropped disappear after a timer runs out so you're forced to run around even more.

@webthingee @seizethedia That's a good suggestion! Will definitely keep that in mind for the future :D

The art is okay, it's quite a simple game. I would have opted out of the humor instead of the audio, but alright. I am not sure if you can just camp in one of the corners, but I would recommend changing it so that you have a healthbar that is constantly depleting and you have to pick up coins in order to stay alive, whilest avoiding the enemies coming across the screen.

@mika-la-grand We can't opt into audio. We didn't make the audio. If you don't find the game humorous, please rate it appropriately.

You could camp in the corners, but you'd die to unseen enemies pretty easily since they can appear from anywhere on a radius around the center of the map.

Thank you for the feedback!

The art style, animation, and music is great! Gameplay was simple, but always forced the player to be on the move due to the enemy being on the same path as them on spawn. Great job for a JAM game!

Thanks for rating our game!

This was fun! I liked how gradual the increase of speed was. The change was slowly noticeable which was way less stressful when trying to stay alive. The game play was also very smooth.

Pros:
- Smooth movement that was neither too jerky nor too floaty

- Nice gold drop on damage

- Music fit the pace of the game well

Cons:

- A bit too simple on the dodge mechanic, like Asteroids is slower but there's a ton of stuff to navigate around that forms new patterns every time.
