Little Unstable Planet by Mekuri
### The Stuff noone Reads ###
This was my 9th Ludum Dare (In a Row), and probably the one with the most obstacles, yet. In total I've probably spent less than a days worth of work on this one, as I got sick during the weekend. Despite that I ended up with something playable, albeit extremely scaled down. I am, however, fairly happy with the result, even though it's far from my best result.
There are obvious unfinished elements in the game, like the lack of animations, but I think I ended up delivering some decent graphics.
### The stuff about the Actual game ###
You are on a small planet that are being hit by Space Rocks (Asteroids).
Your job is to maintain a balance between keeping the planet stable, and allowing it to gain mass. Whenever the Planet is hit by a Space Rock, it grows bigger, but also becomes more unstable.
The bigger the planet is, the quicker it stabilizes, but it also attracts bigger and more dangerous Space Rocks.

### NOTE ###
There's issues with the UI and mouse sensitivity on the Web versions. I'll look into it if/when I get the time.

"Easy" mode seems difficult -- the slow speed of the shots is frustrating, and finding the rocks is strangely difficult. Never found a crystal, though I did deflect quite a few rocks. Are you unable to look straight up, or am I confused?
I like the concept of balancing growth against instability, and something's weirdly fun in plinging those rocks away, but I'm definitely struggling with the controls.
Impressive work for so little time.
