description

You play as a resistor-wielding LED fighting for energy. Fight enemies and collect batteries to keep your energy levels high.

WIN – kill all the enemies

LOSE – run out of battery (you lose some power every time you shoot)

controls

WASD – move

mouse – aim & shoot

bugs

  • enemies don't actually deal any damage to you :P

  • due to the dungeon generation, sometimes you can spawn on an isolated island that you can't get off of, if this happens reload the game

  • ~~problem with dungeon generation leads to wrong tiles being placed on map~~ (decided this was cool, so it's not a bug, it's a FEATURE )

  • when you win or lose, you'll have to reload the game to play again :grimacing:

have fun!

Really like the sound in this game! I think there are probably too many energy packs around to make the game challenging, perhaps if they dropped after killing an enemy would be better. I "won" but I'm not exactly sure what the win condition was :)

Overall I liked this, just wish it was a bit longer.

Humorous. Felt too basic though.

Fun little game, really well done. There was too many batteries around, maybe it would have been a far more risk reward thing, if the enemies dropped these. Good job

This is an extremely good game! Its ashame more people haven't rated it.

Pros:

Amazing mood! Amazing graphics! Amazing animations!

Cons:

Gameplay is a little dull. Game ends too early. Shooting sound could use some work.

I liked the game. Sounds pretty promising.
Art, sound and mechanics are very interesting. Although you have listed things to be done, what you have now seems to me quite fluid.
Well done. :)

Hahah I like the way you presented the game. It's indeed very broken. I feel like the time you spent on the dungeon generation was kind of ill-spent, as it would be better to have a single, fixed, playable level than having infinite levels that you can't play :P

Anyway, the graphics and audio go really well together and the game looks great, so I really hope you do a post-comp version with something actual gameplay.

I win!

Fun game. Cool idea (and great implementation) with the procedural generation, and I really like the fact that we're all LEDs. As you mention, there are a number of.... undocumented features here. Some post-jam fixes might go a long way. Great entry!

Good game. I like the graphics and the animations. The mood is very good. Maybe if you put less batteries and make the enemies take power from you, it will make the game more challenging. Good job!

This is an ambitious project, and I applaud you for adding proc-gen to a jam game. That being said, I don't think it adds much to the play experience in it's current incarnation. The bugs (including the tile placement) really kept this game from making an impression on me. Though the gameplay left me cold, I thought the look of the game was solid, and the sound pulled it's weight too. Thanks for putting this together and sharing!

That was very easy, I lost first time because I kept running and collecting batteries, but in the second time, I became the hunter. The art is good and the sound is nice. Overall, it was fun.

Good game with great graphics, good music, however i'd wish to have more things to do with enemies ! Except that point I don't think there is something else "bad" with the game (However there a minor "bug", I think, enemies can't be hitten when they are on you or very near).

The graphics are good, but it could be better if enemys could really deal damage to me, it was kind of boring, and the music drived me crazy. Anyway, good job!

I love the art for this and the idea of a little LED with a resistor gun is adorable. Game play is a bit basic but I think the art makes it interesting. The music is nice too.
