javaw2017-07-3100-40-34.png Ever thought keeping all your gadgets charged is too stressful? Forget it. Now, you are a professional phone charger. Go plug phones and charge them quickly. Sounds simple, right? Get ready for the rush as you try to charge the phones with their battery draining quickly.

Instructions:

Use arrow keys to navigate and ENTER for action.

There are 3 kinds of chargers, which charge 3 different kinds of phones.

 • Green lightning charger - green phone
 • Small charger (horizontal) - old keypad phone
 • Normal charger - all other phones

If a phone charges move hand towards phone and collect it. If a phone discharges, you lose a life.

Have fun playing and don't forget to post your high scores!

very fun and innovative game. I like the art style but the audio could get quite annoying.

@swifttech You have to go down and tap on the charged phone to submit it and get points. Then a new phone appears at that place 4-5 seconds later. And my apologies for the audio. I hope you are doing it right and it's not some weird bug. ![javaw_2017-07-31_19-38-38.png](///raw/fb1/8/z/693a.png)

Fun idea. But only the ¨green¨ phones were discharging after full charge and score seams not to works. (I play it on Linux)

I think I should have made some more screenshots as the game concept was not understood clearly. Everyone please refer to this: https://vgy.me/ArUpF8.gif

Fun little game, I did not remember which charger went to which phone but made it pretty far anyway. High pased game.

**Overall game impression:** Definitely unique. Works well and is pretty fun to play surprisingly. Didn't expect a Phone Charging simulator to be quite as entertaining. Constantly having to keep an eye on several objects and such sure adds a very nice and interesting experience. If it was just few phones it'd have gotten boring really fast I think. Pretty fun overall, I enjoyed. Good sound effects (aside from the continues noise when phones are fully charged)

**Suggestions and comments on improvement:** Primary thing that needs to be addressed imho is the noise phones make when fully charged, instead you should've made it a beep that stops after 1 second or something. The continues noise is really annoying.

p.s. check out my game as well please.

I got a high score of 7,100 after my second try. I was proud of that score until I saw Neato's 53,000 a few comments above lol.

This is a great entry. It's fun in the way addictive phone apps are fun and it's great for the theme. The only complaint I have is that I personally would have preferred more identifiable features on phones and chargers separating them from similar-looking models.

If I had to choose three words to describe this game, they'd be creative, challenging, and fun.

Ya the sound continuously playing bug is weird. I did not come across it while testing :slight_frown:

A simple, yet deceptively difficult game! It took me quite some time to memorize which charger when to which phone, but even after I got it, it was difficult to juggle so many phones at once! A slower start to get players used to the mechanics would be a good idea... I can see lots of promise for adding new gameplay elements too!

This is pretty fun. I really like the idea but it should really be made more clear how the game works with the whole submitting phones for points thing. Also the charger icons are not centered which bothers me slightly.

Huh that was difficult at first, I was just trying whichever plug makes a connection but after a while I got used to it. It would be better with some music in the background and maybe mouse support. Good work.

Hey there, I really like the idea of this game, its is very fast paced and fun, my only idea for making it better would be to have the chargers resemble the phones a little more, but besides that, this game was fun to play, and enjoyable, nice work!

This was a lot of fun! The only problem I have is that it's not very clear which charger can connect to which phone. But it was really challenging and I had to stay focused every second. Great game!

A simple game that works well! I think I encountered a bug at some point none of the phones were powering down (even disconnected). It seemed like phones were only starting to lose power if I moved an appropriate charger. I had no idea I needed to submit phones, so I never got any points. All in all, though, the game concept was good and it was nicely executed. The look of the game was nice as well, and the sounds helped keep me informed of play, even when I was looking somewhere else.

I love the concept, this is certainly a fun take on the theme!

The game becomes quite frantic! Who would have thought that the life of a professional phone charger would be that hard...

A bit of hectic music could have made the mood even better.

Nice game!

Oh, and I got a high score of 33900

Had a really tough time figuring out & remembering which phones matched which charges. An easier introduction to the different phones and plugs would make it even better. That said, excellent use of the theme. Nice job.

We streamed your game with Danae plays on Twitch. :) Here's a link:

[Danae streams Ludum Dare 39: Day 1, part 1: Battery Low](https://youtu.be/4KfQtLDzK-g?t=1h12m49s)

It took me a minute to figure out the appropriate matching of phones and chargers. In particular, having two variants (black / white) of both the horizontal and the regular chargers made me think these are very different. After that initial confusion, however, this is a very fun game of multitasking and micromanagement. With a whole bunch of additional polish (music, better UI, combos?, etc) the core gameplay would shine. Good job!

That was a slice of life for everyone who has smartphones, that game could bring something new to the sports by just exerting reflexes and charge as much phones as possible. Meanwhile, it took me some time to get the mechanics, it was different from a lot of entries that I've rated which is great. The difficulty of the game is "which cellphone supports this kind of charger?", so I guessed a lot of times until a USB chord appears. Graphics are decent and the rest are intuitive.

Fun Idea, I find it interesting how many jammers have thought about their smartphones bcz of the theme (even me at first although I picked something else), food for thought :D

I enjoyed the game a lot but I had to do a few retries to understand how to play. The art and sounds were generally good too.

Really awesome idea, but I think that steering needs to be polished a little bit (maybe make transitions of chargers with mouse). Also I think that audio is irritating.

Hey @freedom-is-slavery - [you put your game on my list to play](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/end-of-time/whos-not-had-any-love-link-your-game-for-me-to-play), and [I streamed the play-through on Friday](https://youtu.be/-DEvWdMWCKk?t=8632), I'm not personally a fan of this kind of game, but I can see and appreciate the challenge. You had some good graphics, Same chargers but in different colours and so forth, which kinda through me for a bit, but added to the complexity and was pretty nice when I thought about it later. I couldn't see if there was a pattern to the phones coming in, or if they were just being randomly generated? If they were planned, it would have been nice to get some in-game feedback about your progress. :) but overall it was a solid game.

Good game, with a very literal intepretation of the theme hehe. It was fun and kind of addictive also. The graphics were simple but worked well and consistent in style.

I didn't understand how to play the game at first since I kept spamming left mouse button to pickup the chargers, I really wish that instead of enter you used the left mouse button but other than that I liked the game a lot.

Having a leaderboard would certainly also make the game more addictive since you would compete trying to get top score on the leaderboard. Good job!

I would really appreciate some kind of visual pairing of the phones to the chargers, now it's hard to tell which should be connected to which.

The pacing is toooooo fast for new players! :) Maybe add some learning curve - start slow and get faster continuously.

When do I lose? After letting three phones drain out? It was not obvious from the game. But maybe it was at the description. But I'm too lazy to read the description, so I would appreciate if it was explained in the game itself :)

Thanks for making it, cheers for next time!

That was astonishingly close to life in my house. All those phones, all those tablets, all those electric toothbrushes. All the game needs now is a bag of old cables, chargers and adapers that you just can't quite bear to throw away on the off chance that you might actually visit France again and need to charge your Nokia 2110.

Cool game! It got very hectic trying to manage all the phones, and I found myself wanting to get a better score every time I lost. I think maybe some sort of mouse controls would've been good for this game.
