Yeah! I love the little devils clinging to the saw blades, and that music loop. Not sure how it fits the theme of the jam, but it's nice to see another not-so-cute game out there.

@ragtagradical Thanks for playing! The mixed genres are supposed to be racing, shooter, and platformer. Brutal games unite!

Very fun, but challenging game! I'm glad I got to see the development process.

Super hard! Seems to require incredibly tight timing. I was just holding the "up" button most of the time and trying to fly up the level before the blades closed up.

Good job! I am not a fan of blood but, I like this it is something different.

Well done, reminds me a lot of the game 'Shotgun Funfun'.

Very very difficult, and it seems like my character takes damage randomly. Interesting concept, though!

The music was epic! There were moments when I was on a lower platform and the NPCs on the platform above me could still hurt me. Otherwise, I had fun!

I won! Nice job on the platforming mechanics. The gameplay worked well and I didn't encounter any bugs. Well done!

@Anubhav Kashyap @agar3s @Cohav0310 @stderr @Matt Pattabhi @King Kujito @szabe @BalladofSong @Articulated9 Thanks for playing!

@stderr Yeah we had trouble balancing the game between the wall closing speed and damage dealt/taken it either felt way too easy or too challenging.

@szabe @BalladofSong Both the player and the enemies can actually shoot through the platforms and it's not always very clear where you area being shot from. (Maybe some sort of directional indicator would fix that).

Very fun music and mood. Feel like I've been through hell lol. Would have liked it if the saws didn't cover the only possible exits hehe. Also the jumping was very buggy and the falling could have been a bit quicker, since a lot of the time I got stuck on things due to unresponsive controls.

Difficult but we feel the spirit of metal !

Dude. I made it out of hell. I freaking did it!
Only critique, you totally could have embraced the floaty physics with sprites. maybe like... hot gas that shoots you up or something? Like... you could ride it up with your flannel or something and if you shoot your flannel there are holes and you go slower unless you find patches around???
Anyways, keep up the great work!

Total opposite to my game :)
It's hard, or maybe me been bad at platformers. Music is so cool. :metal:

I found this game a bit barebone - the shooting mechanics are a bit incomplete seen as all the bullets can go through the walls, and I don't really understand the point of the circular saws on each side of the screen closing in slowly - especially seen as there is no score in-game - if there were one that depends on how high you go or on the number of ennemies killes or on how long you manage to survive in-game, why not, but on their own, they don't make much sense to me... This game's a good start, I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with next time :-)
