Sacrifice for the wall by DarkAnice
Description:
βThis game is about a president trying to defend his country against mexicans. He's sacrificing himself to protect his country at all cost. He even invades Mexico just to make sure his country is safe. Help him by walking through the levels and defeating every enemy that walks your path. But beware that you damage yourself by jumping, which is a sacrifice you're willing to take to take down those pesky mexicans trying to take over your country. The good thing about taking them down is that you'll be so satisfied with what you've done, that you restore some of your HP.
Controls:
walking = wasd/arrows/left stick

I like that you could jump on the enemies, so you can extend the jump. Thats a important mechanic, when every jump costs energy.
- I like the timer as I love challenging myself and others to be competitive, yet it would've been nice to have one or two decimals and to see my score at the end of a level
- The Audio is funny, I love the midi renditions of "popular" songs
- The theme does come forth, but not a lot. I never really looked at my healthbar during my playsession
- I love that there was a boss (more games should have those in my opinion haha), but I one-shotted it three times in a row, so you might wanna look into that :P
- Three distinct levels, I like that. It does give me a feeling of progression!
- I didn't like the camera movement unfortunately, it was too slow so I couldn't see things coming when I jumped. Yet it did force me to take my time instead of rushing, which gives speedrunning it a bit more merrit.
- The final thing is the gravity, it feels really floaty. In a quick and reactive platformer I would love to have quicker controls.
- The level design feels nice, the levels get more difficult as you progress and they are interesting
I like the game a lot. I was just looking to give some feedback, so here you go. Nice game, I'd download it if it was on the Appstore!
