I tried to conjure up what it would be like to play a match 3 game in the back alley of a carnival in post-Soviet era Russia where nothing has been properly maintained and you just KNOW you're being swindled somehow....

  • Click and drag a shape to fling it into shapes of the same color.
  • Completing color matches scores points and increases your power meter.
  • Flinging a shape costs power.
  • The higher your power the more of a score multiplier you have.-
  • If you run out of power you have 3 seconds to recover or you lose.

I really like your game! It feels super solid and fun. If I could change one thing, I would love it if the throw action was slightly more forceful. It kept me wanting to play more!

@schsam i totally agree about the throw force. maybe a 1.5 multiplier would have been enough.

This is a great idea. I think it would make a good mobile game to kill time. :)

Very original idea, I love it! The music is great, and it's quite fun to try to "push" shapes where they belong.

To improve the game, maybe when the player is in the "3 second to recover" mode, you should boost the throw force, like x3 or x5, so we could shake all the shape at once an try to recover. For now, I never managed to recover in the 3 seconds: if I lost all my power, it was because all the shapes I needed were buried at the bottom, so it could have been helpful to be able to have a couple of powerful "force throw" to solve this.

Anyw, congrats on your entry!

It took me a little bit of time to understand what was going on but I liked a lot the use of the theme! Congrats for your game! Good job!

This is great! The music fits with the gameplay, and the gameplay is fun! All I would change is the amount of velocity applied to the drag. I had to drag the shapes to the other side of the screen to get it around halfway there. Good game though!

When we were tossing around ideas, a match 3 physics game came up and we were like 'wtf would that even be'. You totally did it, and it's great. Played it a few times. It's got a lot of unused space, and the power thing ending the game is a bit unintuitive, but the concept's amazing and it's super fun to play. Great game overall. I really enjoyed it!

@MegRabbit I was literally just having the same conversation with my Dad about the how the power and "heat" tank. I kind of agree on the unused space. it was a balance of having enough room to fling things and too much empty space.

@SuperTibbles totally agree on the drag velocity. i originally made it to be a more thoughtful game, but after watching my wife fling things around with abandon i get it.

I liked the concept, but the physics felt extremely weighty and made it near impossible to get a match three when you didn't have at least two matching at the start of a turn.

I think it might be interesting to make it a little less "heavy" feeling, even if that may or may not make it too easy.
