Fight off dark monsters while listening to some "relaxing" elevator music. Use your flashlight to destroy or hold off the monsters, each level's monsters have different characteristics so watch out! :scream:

I was originally planning to submit for the Compo but I spent a bunch of time trying to make the music and failed  so here we are a day later and a lesson learned.

Instructions

  • WASD or Arrow keys to move, Mouse to look
  • Shine your light on enemies until the doors close
  • Escape then Enter to exit

Tips

  • Try to get as many enemies as possible in your light at once
  • Standing closer to the door will increase your range a bit
  • Try not to focus too much on one group of enemies

Notes

  • Level 3 was unreasonably hard, so downloads will include an original and an updated version with a better level 3
  • I didn't have time to make a real win scene so when you beat the last level you just start over

um not sure what to say, it was definately different... hard to tell if i was actually doing anything, some kind of sound or visual feedback would have gone a long way to help that. Other than that, i think there could be a pretty darn interesting game here if given the time and attention. Like maybe the monsters could be used to tell a story like silent hill or something...

This is a very strange game. It's difficult to know what you are really doing. The game has some bugs when the monster spawn and the are a lot, so when they are there, the elevator starts opening and closing his doors all the time.

Okay, I'm gonna be honest here, the game as it is right now isn't very fun, it lacks player control and involves very little strategy, nevertheless, it's an interesting concept, and the music is indeed relaxing
