a very small planet. by PixelFormedStudios

made by PixelFormedStudios for LD 38 (JAM)

In this game, you must make your own planet into a thriving colony. Grow trees, collect resources and most importantly: survive the night. Try and survive for as long as you can, progressing faster than the oxygen depletion causing death to your planet.

Nice game ! I like the ambient music which is really relaxing :)

I have sometimes difficulties to ask my workers to do something, I think they don't like me :D

You also maybe wanted to know this, I found an error :

```
FATAL ERROR in
action number 1
of Step Event2
for object obj_light:
Unable to find any instance for object index '102024' name '<undefined>'
at gml_Object_obj_light_Step_2
```

I was just playing, day 6 during the night (don't know if this helps)
Keep going ! :)

Should be fixed now. Sorry about that, been trying to work my way around the bugs caused by my lazy programming.

It's a little bit frustrating that trees and fires sometimes disappear.
But i like the idea, the sound, music and graphics.

That is them being used up / dying. When testing, I found that having infinite sources made the game feel too easy to play.

I found an exploit. I was able to start off by purchasing two trees and a worker, putting my exp into the negative by buying a tree, selecting a second one, mousing over the planet, and then instead of clicking to place it, selecting a worker. A fun game though!

Fun game concept. I found it really hard to survive night one (might just be my strategy or something, I tried going for two trees before campfire). Graphics were simple but effective. Nice job!

It would be nice to have few more items that cost more than basic ones. Currently game shows whole potential very quickly.

I liked the art, but animations have few issues, Sometimes guys walking 350 degrees counterclockwise instead of 10 degrees clockwise. And there is some weird movement while gathering woods at night too.

Also, I had 2 campfires at night and 3 guys, 2 guys found the fire quickly while 3rd started to flounce between two campfires and just died =/

Pretty nice concept, but I wish there was something to reach, maybe not a "game clear", but some additional features as i said at the beginning.

Thid idea has a lot of potential. Is a challenging game and i think it would be a great game with more content. Congrats!

Overall yeah quite fun. Didn't really have too much challenge in my opinion but it was clean and had lovely graphics.

I like the game, though it is quite hard. The turorial was very helpful, but I could not even keep one worker alive with one tree.

Very interesting but challenging game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)
