Click on groups of 3 or more orbs to collect them. Each time you click on a orb though, a block will be created at that location. Aim for big combos and carefully chosen placements to score as high as possible.

Made for Ludum Dare 42 by Joel Barr (BitJester Media).

I didn't have a lot of time this weekend, so this is pretty basic. I wanted to add a Puzzle Quest style combat system where you're drawing magical energy from the land to fight, trying to wear the enemy down before you run out of space, which is where the name comes from.

Rather fun: however, when there are no moves possible, I feel like it should give you a game-over screen.

Neat idea to lock out what you click on. It takes some real thought to plan out your moves to max score and not lock parts of the board off.

I like this twist on the click + match-three game idea, missing sounds and some more screens, it kinda lacks depth, but does not lack on challenge! :)

I'd advise you to change the color scheme of the balls to a more colorblind friendly scheme, I do have some problems with colours and, besides red, I had some trouble matching the colors! :P

A very clever mechanic. I think that with a bit more work this could be a really excellent game! As others have said, it would be good to implement a lose condition.
