Well made :) The mix is really great and cool. Graphics and music is good too. Maybe, the part of the Match 3 is too small and also, colors are quite the same. Its hard to see. Maybe like a real match 3, you could juste make a combo by switching two items and note one by one and moving one as far as u want. Not fan of this :/ But the feeling is really great

Normally not a fan of match color games, but mixing it with a rogue-like style makes for a surprisingly good game! The graphics, sound, and gameplay are all really well done!

Cool game! I needed a few minutes to fully understand how it's meant to be played but I had fun! :)

Really good graphics, but overwall, a bit hard to understand. I think the bubble board should be cleared between round because you might get stuck, or have to do a lot of permutation before getting something, or maybe I'm just bad a this game

Really well done, and nice matching these two genres together. I love crush games and this is something I've always wanted to try. It was kinda challenging to find the colours, but it's probably just me being blind, haha. Good job.

Really fun game! Got stuck though because I ran out of matches, but otherwise I can see this becoming addicting

Really enjoyed playing this game, although i was pretty terrible . Managed to get to level 8 on my best attempt but got overwhelmed and couldn't get enough attacks. Good job, graphics are really great aswell!

It was hard to figure out the game mechanics but it is a good combination of genres. + cool graphics! so cute 🙃

@sabeurre @random-thoughts you can swap even if it doesn't match!

Just one more turn!

the positives:
* Very intuitive interface
* Nice graphics
* fitting sound

the negatives:
* it took me time to realize I can match with color only, the symbols don't have to match
* swapping tiles sometimes feel glitchy on webgl. Something with the animation?

Overall a game I wanted to keep playing. The difficulty could be a bit higher.

@mrerdalural Yup I know. Just realized from reading @Togis comment that only color matters so actually I did have matches, because there were only two of each color and symbol combination

Fun game, solid gameplay and nice art.

Like stated before, the swapping sometimes felt a bit buggy, but besides that it's a great game.

Very smart mashup. I had a lot of fun with this, the graphics and audio really sell the idea well. I could see this scaling up to a very competitive mobile title. Run with it!

Now this is a good game! I really like the idea to use the match3 mechanics to something useful. Very nice, you should definitely work on this a bit more! I missed a game over screen, or something like that. How do I know when I die?
mrerdalural
24. Apr 2018 · 15:15 UTC
@pestodesign game restarts from level 1 when you die.(well some times from level 2 due to a bug). We couldn't find the time and energy to do a player death sequence.

I got that, I would just need a popup saying I died. But I know, we did not have too much time to polish our games :D

Nice work ! The graphics are really cool and cute.
At first I did not understood the game as I did not read the explanations but after reading them everything was intuitive. Maybe you should have let a shortcut to get the explanation during the game ?

Nice tactics. Couldn't figure out how to use arrows though.

26. Apr 2018 · 08:23 UTC
The idea is interesting but the execution is not well done in my opinion.
The first impresion is that you can't do anything in the game because the controls are confusing...
However it's a nice game!
mrerdalural
26. Apr 2018 · 08:50 UTC
@Lerg you click on a distant enemy on the same row or column and you must have arrows in order to shoot.

@Aaronacus we realize the controls are very raw and lacks polish but we really would like to hear how would you like the controls to be if this was a completely polished game.

This was a very cute game! Really nice graphics and audio. I did find it a bit hard to understand, particularly using daggers to kill enemies. The bottom right box indicated I had more than one to use, but selecting it in the grid of moves and clicking on an adjacent enemy did nothing. I also found the grid of moves a bit difficult to select and unselect, but that's a small thing. Overall well done!

What a great entry! Loved the style and the gameplay, I really liked how merging the genres didn't made the game less rogue-like, you guys found a really good way to blend them. Amazing work!

Briliant game. Everything from design side, to programming, effects and music is just great. One of the better entries this game. Congratz!

Cute art, it reminds me of Adventure Time. The match 3 aspect could use some polish, but overall well done.

Cute and a very well working game. Just hope there were some kind of instructions somewhere what you are supposed to do. Didn't first realize that I can kill the enemy and ran to the rabbit hole... which did nothing. But its a working game and graphics and sounds are good. Good job

I made it to level 14!

Very cool idea and nice implementation. This game has cool graphics, music and sound effects. Everything fits together very well and after just a short amount of playtime I figured out how this works. Really nice idea. I run out of everything equally so there is no one-size-fits-all solution here which is a very nice feature, you always have to keep an eye on all your resources and keep thinking and planning ahead.

A really cool game, I am sure to bookmark you and check out your next LD games! :-)

That's a really interesting concept here. I do feel like with a decent theme, like explaining the story behind the characters, etc. this game could be very entertaining to play. You know.. something as defined as Plants versus Zombies. I'm actually interesting to work on a project like this. You have a nice idea, my suggestion would be to build up on it now :)

Excelent game! Really good use of theme, good integration with the genres, good graphics, ambientation and, so fun!

Only one thing! in the level 5 I had a Unity Exception, probably dying and the game freezes :(

Good work!

Good work!

Feels like the match3 is more like a minigame thou. I mean, your actions depend on it, but you can just stack a lot of actions and then ignore it for a couple stages.

Art and audio are great, keep at it!

Great game. Cute and coherent graphics. The combination of the two genres was well implemented. What I'm still missing is an idle movement and what I also noticed is that you can't click on the opponents to attack them.

Would be great if you could try our game too. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/astropover

Very cool and fun this game. I thought it was kind of complicated to play for lacking the vewzes of having 3 items of the same color of the attack, but congratulations for the game. The art is beautiful.

I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.

I hope you continue with the project.

Ahhhh this is so polished and good looking! Congratulations on the entry! It takes some time to learn and the curve is a bit steep, but roguelike games tend to be like that.

It's so cute as well. You nailed the visuals!

Congratulations on a great entry! If you can take the time to look at mine, it still needs a few ratings. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/last-stand

Cool concept, cute grafics, didnt get the point of items lying in the ground if i can take them on the buble side.
