The idea looks quite interesting, and a tutorial with more explanations (about the UI expecially) would be quite interesting, as your game is quite hard to understand for new players...
But again, a fast 4X is indeed a really interesting concept!

This is a good game :)
I love games with physics. We also chose to base our main gameplay on that. well done!

Fun little game. It takes some time to get started but once you know what to do it becomes addictive

The concept is not easy to understand, but once we understand, the game is really nice, I played several minutes

I didn't really understand the whole game, but it was still a lot of fun.

I lost more time than I expected. Great game, it would have been nice to know that a higher population also means faster production of materials, I had a real hard time my first few attempts. The artwork is nice, the gameplay smooth, great job! :ok_hand:

I'm afraid I couldn't quite understand how it worked, at times it felt like I had only one option but would still lose (probably because I didn't understand my options), but it was very charming and the details were really neat. Some better tutorialisation and some sound would work wonders. Good job for a first jam!

Awesome game. But as other people have already mentioned, it`s hard to know what you have to do at first. Maybe include a more detailed tutorial, going through the commands and such. Very fun once you learn how to play!

Wow! Didn't expect so much kind words, thank you, everyone! We just found out that the video in the tutorial section was broken, so we fixed it and added a little bit more info to improve the new player experience! You helped us a lot :star:

Really cool take on the theme. I enjoyed the orbiting mechanic and you really nailed the constant sense of impending doom. Well done!

A brilliant idea, nicely executed, although the instructions were a bit dense. It got very hectic at times!

Interesting concept, but I found it quite difficult. Sometimes felt like I lost for no reason (last planet swallowed by black hole before a new one showed up, or a freshly colonized planet hit by an asteroid). Aside from that, though, I thought it was an interesting game.

Overall, really fun game! I would've like it to be a little easier. The mechanics of the game are really good. I think this could be expanded on to make a really complete game. I felt as if I had no chance to keep playing for long periods of time. I would like there to be a nice balance, were I am constantly trying to send people to the next planet. But the population growth (even with upgrades) was too slow to make that happen.

Great entry!

The game could benefit from a more elaborate tutorial. As it is, I spent the first run being completely lost on what to do, then I had to intentionally burn 2 or 3 more to learn how the UI worked and what the upgrades did. But after that, I was able to get into the flow of the game.

It's very frustrating to have a planet come in near the corner of the play area, and try to send a shuttle to it only for the planet to disappear off the edge before I can click on it. I feel like a more square-shaped play area or maybe even a circular one might help? That, or if you could target a planet by clicking its orbit trail.

Overall, it's fun to play, though a new player will need to spend some time getting used to the system.

Thank you for your feedback! We're working on improving the new player experience and plan on releasing an update after the LD which addresses those exact issues!
