S - The Game by Stadoblech

Im totally out of theme. It was not intentional, it just happened...
If you find bug, please let me know (yes there are here for sure)
Post LD changes: - visual timer on disappearing dots - lowered respawn time - (hopefully) fixed bug when letter is not spawned after all letters hangs on dots
known bugs (i will fix them when i have some free time) - in few occasions game could spawn multiple letters - not loading next scene in few rare occasions - letters stuck and prevent spawning next letter

First I was like "it's easy !"... huge mystake.
Really like the style and simplicity of this game
The controls could be better - half the time I'm trying to get something to where I want it to be rather than figuring out where something should be.
The pegs that appear and disappear are really frustrating, and not in a good way. I can't tell if it's based on timing or some other mechanic, and that just made me close the game. Some indication of what's supposed to happen would be great.
Also... What does this have to do with the theme?
In summary, I do like the game, but it needs more polish to make it really good.
with clever new mechanics each level (that's moving dots!)
But why a so dramatic music, what happened to this poor S?

I had a 6th S in the second stage, and few times, I put one S on top of one other and this isn't valid, but no new S appears... **)**

Simple things like timers and moving objects do add a lot of depth to it, so I'm half guessing that this can be endlessly expanded. I always get stuck with puzzle games though, so odds are that I wouldn't make it very far to begin with. But hey, let's not make it about me! I'm just sayin', this game is great, and you should be proud of it.
Oh well, even if it didn't go with the theme, it was a fun experience to behold. In behalf of my team, we'd like to see more from you, so keep up the good work. See ya! :whale:
The music is great!
At first I thought my shot at the timed dots was gone when it had disappeared for the first time, not realising it would come back, so I spent some good time almost, but not quite, succeeding at the first level with this mechanic before I got it and managed to clear it. And the next one after that was a great twist on the concept.
Simple, but effective. A favourite so far!

And there was a stuck s that prevented any more s's from coming in:

✱ Innovative puzzle, clever mechanics
✱ Great music, very peaceful
✱ Overall calm atmosphere is confortable
:muscle: **What imo could be improved:**
✱ Pace is too slow, you have to wait for those timer to end, and there is nothing to do or think about while waiting. S moves very slowly. Also Difficulty growth is a bit slow but it's a correct rate I think, just don't make the difficulty ramp go slower.
✱ Got discouraged quickly because retries feel boring to set up again and again.

✱ A peaceful experience that got me in for a few levels thanks to some clever mechanics and a well adjusted difficulty, but in the long run it gets more frustrating than fun unfortunatly. Thanks for the game!

Could have done a tad more with the graphics, but the simplicity works too. Gameplay wise, would have been cool to do different letters?
Would have liked more levels, but this is a good chunk for a LD. :)
