The game became a *lot* easier when I found out the best strategy is to fly into the center of an asteroid and blow it up from here so you automatically pick up a lot of debris. I stopped when I got a score of around 34k because there was not much of a challenge remaining after I figure that tactic out.\n\nSound effects for firing, explosions and pickups would have made the process a lot more visceral. The art is basic, but works. Unfortunately there's differently scaled sprites (the same asteroid scaled up and down), which is a pet peeve of mine. If you look at the games I've rated, you'd notice I keep having to say that. :D\n\nA solid foundation for a game, I just wish there was a little more of it to play. I think my game didn't match exacly the theme. At the beggining of the jam i found quikly the idea of a spaceship. My first idea was to create a spaceship who became more difficult to control the more matter you have mined.  But I figured out later that this mechanic didn't work very well. The game became less pleasant to play with a slow heavy ship. So I fall into \"features creep\" and I added more and more features to hide my bad mechanic idea.\nI finished the jam with a game quite different of what I initially thought and I'm really happy with the result. You can find a little of the theme with the rental increasing over time.\n\nThis jam also taught me a lot about the Phaser.io librairy\n\nPossible improvements\n---------------------\n\n - Do a collision between the asteroid and the ship\n - The ship movements are quite difficult\n - Tweak rental values and asteroids matters (the game is too easy actually)\n - And many more improvements you will tell me in the comments bellow ;)\n\nMore\n----\n\nDuring the jam I made a video blog about my progress (only available in French). Mais j'ai compris plus tard que cette m\u00e9chanique ne marchait pas tr\u00e8s bien. Le jeu est devenu moins agr\u00e9able \u00e0 jouer avec un navire lent et lourd. Donc, je suis tomb\u00e9 dans ce qu'on appelle le \"features creep\" et j'ai ajout\u00e9 de plus en plus de fonctionnalit\u00e9s pour cacher ma mauvaise id\u00e9e de m\u00e9canique.\nJ'ai termin\u00e9 la jam avec un jeu assez diff\u00e9rent de ce que j'avais initialement pens\u00e9 et je suis quand m\u00eame vraiment content du r\u00e9sultat.
