Roady -- family firendly fun! by YorisFresh
your name is Roady, you are a forklift driver and you have to keep the road clean of boxes. because they are so heavy, cars collapse into it and you get fired. the goal is to survive for as long as possible, you lose once a car smashes into a box.
How to play: you control the truck with W, A, S, D or arrow keys, and you press space to pick up a box, once you are holding a box, a red light on the roof of the forklift turns on. The maximum stack size is 3 boxes.
when playing I recommend you play the bug free version as it fixed very big bugs
about: this is my first Ludum Dare game jam, and I went straight for the compo. I think my game turned out great. This was also one of my first experiences using blender for 3d modeling

The game is simple yet addictive, I love how you can stack and move boxes around, you really have to manage where you put them and pay attention to one of them dropping on the road.
My highscore was close to Gruni's, great game, consider downloading and playing!
So far testing powerups is so much fun :yum:
also was my first time using blender for modeling :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Kinda cant see after a bunch of boxes started stacking around the road pretty badly, but that didnt impend the game alot.
Overall, good job
I see what you're going for, but it's not very intuitive. The lack of audio is a bit disappointing, the objective is confusing, and I still don't quite understand how to avoid the car. Is the yellow ground the road? Because that's where the car goes.
It's a good submission, and for only 48 hours, but I think it suffers from dev-goggles. It's hard to understand what the player sees and thinks about one's game, and that can result in things you think are obvious becoming huge obstacles. I should know. My game suffers from that to a certain extent as well, even though I had already learned about this happening with my LD 41 game, which suffered from it even further.
Overall, good idea, could be better in practice.
