Capture3.PNG Return of the Sea is a strategy game where you try to grow your city while keeping the effects of global warming in check. This is my first Ludum Dare so I hope that you'll enjoy my game.

A really interesting game :) I really like the card idea, I've never seen something like that in one of these styles of game before.

Interesting game.

I gave it a few runs but it was hard to find a balance, especially due to the different building choices, and the only one I saw that reduced pollution was the recycling center?

I loved the idea of cards!

Either way, great job :)

Good game, the idea was good and it was fun to play! I think some bug fixes would make it even better.

Neat game! Once I figured out what I was doing...

I did unfortunately have a few issues :slight_frown: the text is very small, and I feel like you could've put a bit more effort into the UI as a whole.

There's a lot of text, which I'll admit I didn't read very much of! That made it much more confusing to actually play, so I had to go back and reread it, which I had to refresh the page to do.

I didn't seem to be able to place except on tiles where I’d already placed something, and something more to say when you can't click something!

The art is fine, it could really do with some audio though.

Well done

It's a simple and fun game but i feel like the only way to survive is to not get risky with big sources of energy and just play safe with wind turbines and anything that doesn't add too much pollution. I feel like if you added more buildings and some interesting mechanics this could be really fun.

Wow i am very impressed that this was made in 48 hours, Very COOl cooldude38. I could have misunderstood some stuff but sometimes my tiles wouldn't place.I am looking past the UI and sound but the game seemed unbalanced but again 48 Hours, I liked your use of the Theme very topical. Gonna give this 39  s WP cooldude38

Simple and fun. Plays very much like a single-player board game. Bit of a shame there's no sound.

Occasionally I couldn't place a buildings and it wasn't obvious why. It seemed like I had all the resources needed. Also would be nice to be able pan around the map

Could use some polishing for the UI. It's quite an effort now to realize what's going on and to learn how to play.

Your game is very nice to play. The general impact is positive.
As a professional game dev I would suggest... just kidding haha
Nonetheless, if you want to work on this project more I suggest making a difficulty incresing algorithm.
Graphics - very nice. Controls are also working very well.
Maybe you could also take a glimpse at my game? I already enlarged it into a wholesome Android game :)

It looks like an interresting. Maybe with some clever choice to make. But I found it difficult to dive into the figures. Handling the collapse of the city (reduction in space) looks very interresting, though. However, my game ended just as I was entering into that phase...
I might come back to it later, and investigate a bit further.
