Recharge by mponomarev
This is our first Ludum Dare. Here's a small platformer about a little robot (to be finished).
Plot
The Robot uses energy to perform any action; so his battery gradually runs low, and he has to recharge in Amper-stations. He's got an important mission to complete, but the objective remains a secret, until you win. There're going to appear villains and various obstacles on his way, which he'll have to overcome to reach his final destination (a lot to be done and fixed yet, but we're just happy to participate for the first time.)

However, I don't get it: what am supposed to do?
Also, if you press R to restart, the music plays again on top of itself and the robot duplicates.
It also has some bugs, like you can jump though a wall and land on a block. Also when you die it's like the instance of the character gets duplicated:

I think you should have focused more on getting the core game play done instead of focusing on the polish. Good job on the visuals though.
Edit: also when you fall out of the room you never stop falling. I figured out you need to press R to restart but not everyone knows that.
I'd love to see the finished game!
Pros:
- nice animations
- clean, crisp graphics
- decent audio
Cons:
- doesn't seem to be a "game" in the sense of having a beginning, a middle, an end, and a way to fail or succeed (other than falling out of the level)
A quite respectable first entry, nonetheless. The audio and loss of charge almost remind me of rhythm games, like Crypt of the Necrodancer.
It's a good starting point, though, and once you sort everything out, you might have a really nice project to work upon! So Good Job there, and Good Luck too! ;)
I found tile-collisions bug, but overall it's a very good job!
