This is the mash up of two incompatible genres: Golf Games and DoubleDragon-esque brawlers. Fight through the rough greens battling off other golfers while trying to get your ball to the hole!

This is my second Ludum Dare and it was a blast. I hope you enjoy the game as much as I enjoyed making it!! Feel free to report bugs and I'll add them to the list to fix! This game will be continued after Ludum Dare, so look out for a mobile release with polish!

But yeah, I really enjoyed it. Perhaps it would be nice to actually have to aim the golf ball and have some calming music when you're supposed to hit the ball & not in a fight etc, just to let the player get some "breathing time", if that makes any sense. If the dope electric guitar riff is going to play all the time, it get's pretty repetitive and exhausting.

I know you've mentioned the difficulty already, but for a specific criticism/suggestion, I think the player's damage recovery should be quicker. If you get surrounded by a lot of evil golfers, they can get into a pattern where you never recover long enough to move away or react. Maybe cut the time that you are immobile, but allow the player a short period of movement where they are still protected from new attacks?
I think you have a great start for a larger game here if you make the improvements you listed above.

I found the combat to be a little flat though. You could just position yourself against the side of the screen and repeatedly attack until all the enemies were dead.
Overall this is very nice work. The name wasn't inspired by the band Five Iron Frenzy by any chance, was it?
