As a fellow art-game maker for a past Ludum Dare I really appreciate this. The atonal music, the amorphous player, the lack of a point...it really comes together.\n\nIt was a bit hard to figure out how to control where the spheres went. But I guess that's also kind of the point.","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"GenericToast","author_uid":"1010723","time":"2017-05-04T08:52:49Z","epoch":1493887969,"modified":1493887969,"text":"A very nice and relaxing game. I would have loved to see more from it. The sounds and background music fit the mood perfectly. The mouse cursor should have been locked and hidden though, as it prevents the camera from turning once the cursor reaches the edge (when using right click to rotate the camera)","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"mhaton","author_uid":"1010419","time":"2017-05-07T16:28:48Z","epoch":1494174528,"modified":1494174528,"text":"Certainly very... different! I had a bit of an issue where once I reached a certain height (you can climb incredibly quickly by just frantically clicking and jumping up the side of what you're placing), my camera completely inverted (i.e. my normal camera had everything upside-down). I'm not sure if it made the experience more trippy or less.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"quadtree","author_uid":"1001298","time":"2017-05-09T06:36:33Z","epoch":1494311793,"modified":1494311793,"text":"Nice work, I really like open-ended games like this. Audio was good, and you had good iteration times when you died. I feel that the controls are kind of counter-intuitive to the mood however, since I got very good at leaping to the ground rather than at the clouds. (though once I remembered I could zoom the view out that made my life a lot easier)\n\nI think personally I would have liked to have been able to make my own cloud as well as build up on the existing ones. But as it is there's a certain satisfaction to building a great long cloud then watching as it all morphs into rain clouds. :)","likes":1,"format":"md"}],"format":"md","images":[],"links":[],"metadata":{"g_key":"53545","g_author":"1001611","g_event":"LD38","g_eventkey":"69","g_subevent":"COMPO","g_urlkey":"248452","g_title":"Cloud Garden","g_status":"USEAR3","g_place":"519","g_commentcount":"10","g_site2_node_id":"16153","g_hide":"Y","g_has_icon":"N","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":{"n_key":"16153","n_urlkey":"248452","n_parent":"9405","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/38\/cloud-garden","n_slug":"cloud-garden","n_type":"item","n_subtype":"game","n_subsubtype":"compo","n_author":"1611","n_created":"1492810902","n_modified":"1493655185","n_version":"74682","n_status":"COMMIT"},"node":{"id":16153,"parent":9405,"superparent":9,"author":1611,"type":"item","subtype":"game","subsubtype":"compo","published":"2017-04-24T01:05:12Z","created":"2017-04-21T21:41:42Z","modified":"2017-05-01T16:13:05Z","version":74682,"slug":"cloud-garden","name":"Cloud Garden","body":"## About\nCloud Garden is a game with no goal.
