I played your game, it's pretty cool. Platforming's only so-so, but I don't think that's the point. I was hopping around, harvested the wheat, and then found myself playing finger-DDR to grow some lettuce :D

A fun, short game with good ideas. Good job!

This is a combination of classic pixel-art platform game, and a really strange story.

The sandwich-making gave the platformer game machanic a nice touch. I liked that I had to grow the lettuce and that I could buy the needed cheese on my way

Cute game!

Cute little platformer. I used to give a lecture in which I explained software versioning by example of sandwich-making (it makes as little sense as it sounds like ), so I was immediately drawn in by the sandwich theme.

The art and animation are cute. It was a little irritating to not be able to jump off the ladders (makes sense though, since there is no separate jump key). Also there's a weird offset glitch whenever I press down while I'm on the ground near a ladder, and at some point I bounced up into the blue sky and had to restart the game...

Overall, I like the setup and the handling, while in need of some work, was better than many other platformers I played on here. Good job

Mm what a perfect sandwich.

I enjoyed the game for what it's worth. Simple platforming and fetch quest; I really love the look of all the components, especially the mayo jar. The colours look good in your game, too. It seems the best way to play this is to start with the wheat, however, I got it last and had to sit around waiting for this wheat to become bread. Your controls are fluid and overall pretty responsive, and there was a nice variety of things you had to do in order to obtain the ingredients.

A couple of issues I had:

- The jump is a little too floaty, but since this wasn't really a platforming challenge game, it kind of worked in this game's favour.
- Some of the dialogue boxes don't close; for instance, solving the dog riddle gives you the tomato, but the dog still displays the riddle. Ideally, dialogue boxes should disappear when the player is not near the area in which they recently interacted.
- The player's behaviour around ladders seem to cause the player to interact with them even if they aren't going up and down on them. As such, jumping very close to them (but not directly on them) can cause the player's jump to become "stunted". If the player is jumping past the ladder, they should not be walking on the ladder as they are doing their jump.

Overall, you have a good sense of humour, which adds to the charm of the text. I wish you had some audio in your game, though! Text Me Later's audio was the best. :P

The art is pretty good. It would help the mood if there was music and sound, but you have to cut corners sometimes when you only have 48 hours. The acceleration from gravity was pretty slow, and most likely would have benefited from quicker falling. Overall it was enjoyable :)
