nice, too bad you can't shake it to make it snow though

Had me wondering how this was done the whole time. Really pleasant and simple mechanically but complex underneath. The glass refraction is a really neat effect. Thanks for this!

This is really clever. I like that the music switches when you change scenes. Keep up the great work!

I played this on Livestream a Few Days Ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiOC3F43xF0

Really interesting tech demo! I don't have much to say about it, but I really enjoyed what I got to mess with.

Nice idea, very different to most other games on here, I would probably tag it as interactive art as there isn't really any game elements.

Good work though, no bugs to be found and music is really nice.

Really nice idea and music is cool :) Though, not really a "game". Still awesome.

Loved the music - so soothing =), the minimalist graphics worked great, maybe consider making more interesting color schemes? other than that i really enjoyed it as an art piece =)

Very nice transitions, the art is really beautiful and it is very relaxing. I think adding particles while shaking and a few other scenes would be very fantastic!

Lovely toy game, someone should make a real life globe toy that somehow does this (projection perhaps).

It really feels like magic the way it swaps that content! I just keep spinning it around and around and it is a very satisfying feeling. The toy, as you name it, also stands out compared to other entries I've seen so far and will probably be something I'll remember from this LD as a whole. I'm not sure if I agree with myself on if that rather drastic silence when you've turned it so that it is swapping is brilliant in how it builds up anticipation or if it could have had somewhat softer transitions? Perhaps based on rotation speed. Because one should not be fooled to believe it is about the graphics only, the sound I find extremely important to the mood of this toy.

Some thoughts after that intro:

* It seems the game was plain random selection of scenes and that was fine, and kept me wondering for a while if it was altering between barn and other scene, but perhaps shuffle an order at start and then run through in the order or other semi-random solution.
* On that note it is easy to see how the scenes could have been carefully selected and ordered to tell a story, even if that story was only a vague sense of some emotion
* And if you really want to add a player into the mix, of course your rotations could affect the scene and as a consequence which will be the next scene.

That isn't really needed though. Because this is brilliant as it is.

Ooooh this is a toy!
Totally unexpected!
The spinning movement is so beautiful ;(
Too bad my ugly computer is messing up everything I try to play here...
Anyway, a beautiful toy! Congrats!

All the sounds and music for each scene were perfect. Love the color choices. Great little toy would love to see more scenes.

Immediate regret of turning over the globe from the cowboy music, immediate excitement when I rotated it back!

Very cool and unusual. I'm Looking forward to your blog post on how the transition was achieved. I agree with Local Minimum that this could be expanded upon by telling a story with the transitions, maybe with a little interaction in a few of the scenes, but it stands alone as is as a lovely little toy

Beautiful and relaxing experience. Imagine a story teller who has to turn the globe to the right side to continue the story. I really like your entry. Keep up the great work!

The music ties this together well. Would have been neat to have stuff inside the globe to rustle up.

Nicely done. Although fairly small, I enjoyed every scene.
