Introduction

After winning last jam's race, Jerry wanted to fulfill his dream of becoming president,

so he started a campaign that had overwhelming success among citizens.

But, oh no! Jerry caught a flu!

He needs your help to recover and achieve his dream.

Defend Jerry's brain and heart by placing organs and paying for them with your own blood, around the two paths to defeat the bacterias!

Controls

mouse lol

Towers

The eye attacks enemies from a distance, killing them in one hit. However, it can only target one at a time

The nose attacks nearby enemies with rapid fire. Each shot only does a small amount of damage.

The mouth attacks enemies with an AoE projectile, they work well near enemy spawn points

The ear uses powerful AoE attacks to take out multiple enemies at once, however, it's fire rate and range are fairly low

Loved this! The visual stylings in this one are awesome, you've got a really great aesthetic going on, and the audio is spot-on too! Solid tower-defense game, wonderful quirky and entertaining submission all around! Great job Red and the rest of y'all.

Wonderfully weird graphics, I love it. One bug I noticed: if you click on an organ button and the space underneath the button is a valid placement location, it gets placed there immediately.

Excellent work! Having a large team does a lot to cut down the amount of work per person (this coming from a solo developer...) Having said that, there is a lot going for this game. The graphics were eye-candy, and paired well with the retro styled music. Gameplay was pretty fun, but would be great if I was able to place down towers more frequently (maybe have a certain amount of currency you can gain during play to place towers and a slightly smaller bonus on completing a stage.) Nevertheless, a very fun experience indeed!

Things I didn't like:
- At first I wasn't understanding what I had to do. I took some time to see that there were icons that I could click and took even more time to realize that I could only put turrets on the blue places haha. If it had some simple arrows ponting to the turret and then on a blue place, I think it would be sufficient.
- It would be even greater to have like a grid to see exactly where I could put turrets, because what I did was simply spamming clicks and praying to get it there hahaha. I was able to put a lot together, I don't know if it was intended (see picture)
- The balancing was not so great, I noticed that the nose was overpowered and just put tons of it every time I had the money. Never got hit. In fact, when I put something like 7 or 8 together, the viruses didn't even left the spawn point lul.
- Low variety of enemies. The "nose abuse" could be avoided if some enemies were tankier and slower, so I would have to build a high dmg structure.
- I didn't understand why I had to select the number of waves. A beginner won't have reference so he will left the default and if he managed to advance through 5 waves, then why make the game stop? I think it could be 20 by default and don't let the player choose it.
- The huge map without a zoom tool or fast movement was not so good too, I had to constantly slowly move through the map to check the two spawn fronts.

Things I liked:
- The gameplay is fun, I love tower defense games and you guys had the right idea about the genre. The multiple fronts and the combination of turrets eliminating a bunch of enemies is very satisfying.
- The art and the animations are very nice, they follow an art style that is different and simple, but works. It's vapor-wave like haha.
- The music is good too, it stands on the background, doesn't overwhelm the player.
- The theme was fun.

Overall a fun game that could me more challenging if it had more enemy variety.

@eduardo-yukio Thank you for your feedback!!

you have no idea how much it means to us.

we feel you on the nose subject, it was buffed very late into balancing and i guess it was buffed a little to much :/

the user experience could definitely have been better had we have done some more user testing unlike last year...

we did indeed have some problems with the placing system, and it took too long to fix so we left it like that.

if we will decide on making a full version we would surely take all of this into consideration and we really cant thank you enough for taking the time to write such a comprehensive, detailed, and practical list of possible improvements.

much love! <3
