I love the concept! I would appreciate a way to choose the number of troops you have before the round starts.

Thanks @towerhufham I had a slider for starting troops count and left it out of the final build by accident ¯\\_(ツ )_/¯

Thank you @arthur-amorim !

The idea is so cool! And what a cool idea to put the shoots on the same tempo than the music one! Really cool game :D

Love this submission!

A few suggestions for improvements:
- A way to manually select a level you want
- Make colliders at the bottom of the level taller, or make walls see-through. I've "lost" a couple units there behind the bottom wall when moving hectically and couldn't figure out why I haven't lost yet :D
- Make some sort of a slider representing ratio of units on each side, so you can see who has more units left in real-time.. to spice up the local multiplayer trashtalk action ;p
- Sliiiightly smarter initial formations. It is a little frustrating to lose a quarter of your units in the first second because of the way they are spawned.

But still, a very solid submission! Love it!

Thanks @thomas-lean the tempo-matchup was a happy accident I'm glad I kept around.

Ooh real-time ratios could be fun @sempiternal. Maybe the bar can show how many of your troops you killed yourself too for maximum trashtalk material!

This is probably the most fun I've had!! A map-maker would be really fun to play around with :) the friendly fire is vicious! our men need better trigger discipline!

Fun and interesting concept. I had trouble a few times focusing on where some of my units were because i was focusing on other units. They were usually just running into a wall though lol.

Tank style controls were great, would be interesting to see if you could do some sort of single player vs AI gameplay in this.

When the unit numbers start to get higher up, the initial placement seems to work against them, and a good number of units die when they first start. Could look into adjusting the formations on that.

I hope to see you keep developing this, would love to see what you do with it.

With some more polish this can be a really enjoyable game. One simple trick for more polish in audio is to put pitched versions of 1 sound in the game. The shot sound in this is really repetitive. Pitch and maybe 1 or 2 other variatons would already enhance the game. Anyways good work :)

Idea, art, sound. Everything looks great.

A couple of ideas how to improve gameplay:
* I do not understand how to save the units. A large part of the units died from friendly fire (yeah that was fun :D ), but I didn't understand how to move "right". Should you add in addition to turns also move left and right?
* The second problem is my units are closer, they are easier to hit than the enemy. And with the current speed of rotation it was very difficult to aim at the enemy. Should add different sizes of the colliders? One size for friendly fire and other size for the enemy.

Good game. I'd love to see her in the top-100

Absolutely love games with massive user controlled mobs. Had a blast with my friend.

Hope you enjoyed playing it with someone @manbeardgames. I'm super torn between having smart formations and the fun of watching 40-ish troops explode in the first few seconds of a 100 v 100 battle.
The starting positions are mirrored now to be equally unfair to everyone.

@fluffi good idea, I've added some slight random pitching to the new version until I have time to create new shot sounds!

@uchiro once I get controller support running it should be easier to control aim. In the meantime I'll try out your suggestions, thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it @andrew-brotherton!

Thanks for all the great feedback everyone. Be sure to check out the latest version, available on itch.io!

This is a great idea, well executed. I wish I had a second player to properly give it go with.
