About the Jam:
Not my best Ludum Dare due to time restraints (which forced me to enter the jam), but I'm still pretty happy with it. I'm just glad I got something done, considering I was pretty out of practice in Java Script and was the most unprepared I've ever been. All in all I'm pleased with the mechanic (although I could probably balance the stats a bit more) and I overcame many problems that could have completely stopped me from submitting.

Pretty fun! I liked the power management aspect, and I think the visual design was nice. Would have benefitted from a little gameplay variance, like perhaps another enemy type. Or maybe like, a power sucking tower you could place that would zap nearby baddies, allowing you to ignore that direction for a bit.

Neat game! The lighting effect worked well and it was well combined with the shoot mechanic to make a far more interesting, compramise mechanic. The game play was simple but nice, and it was nice to see detail in bullet sprites changing per energy level, etc etc. If you had more time to polish, making mouse hold down continually shoot would be nice, and of course little stuff like power ups etc. Overall, a well made game (particularly given your comments on time!) good work.

A nice complete feeling game! The enemies had hitpoint bars, but I could always kill them in one shot, up to 600 points. Is that a bug? Otherwise I do not see the point of getting more weapon power. Having to spam the mouse button gets tiring after awhile.
