TEMPLE BUSINESS

Every season it happens again: time for the quarterly sacrifice! You as the Temple's handyman are responsible for gathering the ingredients for the rituals. However, you can't just walk over to the ingredients. How will the elders help you gather them?

DIFFICULTY NOTE

The first stage (where you only have JUMP) can be perceived as really hard. However, every jump that you need to make for that stage is doable! So keep trying until you start feeling the controls :)

There's an escape hatch, however: press 2 to enable the LONG JUMP earlier on. This will make the first assignment a lot easier. With great power comes great responsibility!

If you genuinely think you found an edge case though, please do let me know!

CONTROLS

  • Arrow keys for walking
  • Space for jumping (when the elders deem you worthy to posess it)
  • Shift for running (when the elders deem you responsible enough to use it)

Pretty nice, although the difficulty was very, very high.

Fun finished game with minimalistic graphics. One "bug" is that you can get an ice shard in autumn already, which is accepted for the sacrifice - and then only three spawn for the Winter Sacrifice. Level design could be a bit better, now it's quite frustrating to do essentially the same types of jump in a long sequence, and having to start over completely if you make a mistake.

A small story, four unique abilities, responsive controls, the right amount of challenge. Well done! I quite enjoyed it!
