But I don't know if i understand the mechanics completely (I had fun, tho). What's the difference between pressing space and clicking the mouse button? They do different things, but I didn't get the point.
Overall, nice work!
I had a lot of fun playing the game although I was often distracted by the cute, smiling planet.
+++ The cutesy graphics and art style.
+++ The chill music
++ Learning the timing for the rings
Thanks for the game.
I want to play this game always and everywhere :)

Lovely music and sound effects, but unfortunately not much of a challenge. Similar timing mechanics to Ouendan or Elite Beat Agents on the NDS. Would have liked to see some more challenge in that direction. Wa-hooooooo! <3
I played the browser's version and the height of your game is way too big for my crappy display's resolution.
anyway good work.
I didn't know I can enjoy a game merely about clicking, but I did.
The sound effects alone could keep me playing it all day, but the whole game feels polished. The graphics are beautiful and the mechanic, although simple, is fun to play with.
PS : Awesome recorded "WEEEEE" sound xD
sound : WEEEEE ! WAAAAAA ! WOHOOOOOO / 20
* I can't tell where the "too late" point is. That means it's essentially a blind game of chicken.
* I don't know if you actually built this to the theme. There's not even a vague connection.
But hot dang it's pretty. So very juicy.
Ok, enough of this distasteful humor. This game's graphics and audio are stunning. Sadly, the gameplay did not level up with the rest of it.
If the little cutely plant can do some more reflection to player after each time it end according to the score player got, that will be prefect!
Soooo cute!
I just love the game, graphic, mechanics and sound, all awesome :)
Concept is really simple (although I didn't quite understand it at first) and the graphics and sounds are awesome! :D
The graphics, audio and gameplay all work together really nicely.
I guess the next step would be to expand on the mechanics a bit, parhaps have multiple zones that you can grow to or make them move or something. Perhaps have bits where you have to tap to destroy obstacles or something. Maybe an infinite runner style game done as you grow the planet. Hang on, I may have to steal this idea :P
In short, great entry - loads of fun and really polished! Nice job :)
It left me wanting to have a visual conclusion according to my score, though.
I really like the sounds and the "feeling" of this game.
Gameplay is very simple but cool ^^ It would be perfect on mobile.
Great entry, good job !
Good job!
Very funny game ! Very short and simple but like the concept, graphics and mood ! Well done :)
The only thing I didn't like was that it basically didn't match the theme at all. But I could see me playing this on my phone waiting for the bus trying to get a high score. Great job.
Regarding the theme: you chose a planet becoming a star, but wouldn't it make more sense to start as a star? If I remember correctly, as the fuel inside a star gets used up, that is, as the star runs out of power, its internal nuclear explosions can't push back against its own gravity anymore, so the star collapses, which can somehow causes it to go nova. Going nova would provide a better justification for pushing away the asteroids than just "deciding to stop growing"!
But seriously, great one button gameplay and I just adore the goofy sounds and animation of the planet. Slap on a few skins and collectibles and you have a mobile title. Well done!
But yeah, the "how to play" is a bit confusing.
At first, I thought that you had to click as late as possible for the small circles around the planet.
Turns out it was actually the large blue ring I was supposed to look at.
Also, don't make the player have a finite amount of moves. As long, as the player is doing good, they should be able to continue.
Good game !
First of all, amazing visuals and art style. Probably the best visuals so far in this jam and definitely the cutest.
The BGM, together with the "Aha!" and "Woo!", complimented the game really well, creating a rather immersive and addicting atmosphere.
However, more detailed instructions on when to click would be absolutely great. Took me a while to figure out when I'm supposed to click.
Another thing is the blue visual circle that is supposed to help you I think? Either not have it at all and let players judge by the rotating fireballs(?) or 1/8th the width at least. If you want to keep it this thick, make it so the width of the blue circle is constant during the "sucking in" as it would throw people timing off when using it as a timing tool.
Lastly, I don't think your high score value is working, mine was stuck at the value seen in the picture. Also, not too sure how it fits the theme.
I enjoyed playing it! Well done!
It is simple and relaxing.
It is not too simple to recognize de limit, i mean, when to press SPACE, but I think it is better like that :)
this is much funnier though, those sfx :)
First of all, the good stuff. The game doesn't look like a jam game. You took an idea simple enough, but effective, and you managed to polish it until you got something that looks more like a real project than a "Game Jam" project, since most of the games from here tend to be awesome but rough around the edges. You've managed to avoid that. Good job:
Also, the sound design is really effective, and the sounds were fun to listen to.
But... well. As everyone is saying, the "feedback" on where my growth really is can be confusing, and it's hard to know exactly when to let go. This wouldn't be much of an issue if the whole game wasn't based around "be risky" and "wait for the last moment". But i couldn't figure out when that "last moment" was.
OVerall, a polished game, good fun for some time, and entertaining. Good job!
9/10
You guys really worked on the art style, game feel and feedback of the game, it has a lot of details! Really enjoyed the sound effects!
Congratulations!
The high score only records when I lose but not my high score when I win the game, so I cannot know if I get more or less points.
It is a nice cute and simple game :) Good job!
