software used: -Zero (DigiPen's game engine) -Audacity -Audiotool -Paint.net -Bfxr

MagneCube is a Platformer made for Ludum dare 39 [Compo], where your only goal is to get to the end of the level. But with a bit of a twist, you require energy to jump, and there are red mindless baddies itching to take away that energy, so good luck getting through these trials. luckily we (I) added recharge stations for morale support. So what are you waiting for?! There's loads of energy that has yet to be drained.

Huge thanks to DigiPen for providing the engine and a lot of the experience necessary for me to be able craft this game!

The game can be quite addicting when you're so close to the goal you can almost taste. I recommend adding more checkpoints and getting the jump mechanic to feel more responsive.

This game is very difficult, but it was that which had me replaying levels again and again trying to complete them. I like how you've taken the theme and merged it into a platformer although jumping really doesn't feel like a jump, more of a jetpack like mechanic?

You should change the colour of the 'low power' state as it becomes impossible to see the playable avatar against the background.
