Second of all - and that's a very, very minor gripe - it's not "pacific" way but "pacifist" way :) No sweat though as the game is easy to understand.
I really like the premise. It's actually kinda brilliant. First of all, it exposes how silly pixel hunting is as a mechanic (you co do it with a gun and it still works). Second of all, it's like a riff on that saying "when you only have a hammer, everything looks like a nail". Big points for that. I enjoyed your game a lot. Great job!
@Lazlo319 We tried to make typical adventure games puzzles to be solved with only shooting, and to play aroun with this idea. That's the reason behind certain objects that would be useful in a typical adventure game, but here are only to make this fact stand out.
@LemonBalmGames I didn't think about the pixel hunting, that's an interesting point! We certainly tried to make you feel like you can shoot everything, and we would love to make more interactables to let you see what happened.
To avoid the rating problem, I think we will add it as post-jam version in the itch.io page, so you can give feedback of that and also try the jam version for voting. Thanks for the "pacifist" note!
But i first was frustrated to kill guys accidentally...
It's abit too short too, i would like to play more quest !
But it's a very nice little game, good job.
I liked the puzzle aspect, but the gun trigger is a little too sensitive. I clicked out of the window to read twitch chat, and when I clicked back into the window, the Baker was shot much to my horror.
I know you said it was a microgame, but I hope you continue to add more to it in the future.
Only having a gun to interact with the objects was an interesting twist.
