The controls worked well and the mechanics are quite clear. \nOne thing that gets hard fairly quickly is how unpredictably the asteroid fragments will bounce. Perhaps if you could pull the fragments toward the moon somehow (like a simple gravitational pull) it would be a bit more manageable.\nSome visual indication of the planet's health would be nice too.\nSome basic sounds when things break, and when you get hit would be a huge improvement as well.\n\nGood job!","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"jishenaz","author_uid":"1003029","time":"2017-05-13T12:45:31Z","epoch":1494679531,"modified":1494679531,"text":"Graphics and music were nice! The gameplay was a little difficult because I had trouble swinging the moon, although I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. I think reducing the size of the player hitbox a bit would help make it feel a little more playable. Also, killing or destroying asteroids that collide with you to help clear the field of clutter and some of the uncertainty I had while playing. \n\nI'd love more feedback when things are destroyed, and maybe some invulnerability frames when struck. Neat concept overall!","likes":0,"format":"md"}],"format":"md","images":[],"links":[],"metadata":{"g_key":"54064","g_author":"1020799","g_event":"LD38","g_eventkey":"69","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"251600","g_title":"Earth Moon Smash Squadron","g_status":"USEAR3","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"3","g_site2_node_id":"20845","g_hide":"Y","g_has_icon":"N","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":{"n_key":"20845","n_urlkey":"251600","n_parent":"9405","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/38\/earth-moon-smash-squadron","n_slug":"earth-moon-smash-squadron","n_type":"item","n_subtype":"game","n_subsubtype":"jam","n_author":"20799","n_created":"1492843893","n_modified":"1493272239","n_version":"69086","n_status":"COMMIT"},"node":{"id":20845,"parent":9405,"superparent":9,"author":20799,"type":"item","subtype":"game","subsubtype":"jam","published":"2017-04-25T03:59:35Z","created":"2017-04-22T06:51:33Z","modified":"2017-04-27T05:50:39Z","version":69086,"slug":"earth-moon-smash-squadron","name":"Earth Moon Smash Squadron","body":"![Title.png](\/\/\/raw\/f31\/5\/z\/23a3.png)\n\n\nTRY GAME HERE https:\/\/darrell-wulff.itch.io\/earth-moon-smash-sqaudron\n(I would've done a web game but things happened...)\n\nSo happy to be done with my first Ludum Dare \/ Game Jam ever!
