I wasn't prepared enough for what I wanted to do and had to compromise and submit something just to have something there. So from that point of view my advice would be spend more time at the beginning of the jam making sure the scope of your idea is valid, or it will bite you in the butt when you are on the last day and need to restart. \n\nThe game is nicely done for what it is, with polish this could be a nice snake variant. I would recommend a stage more like traditional snake with blocks rather than floating point 'free' placement of the snake as it makes for a cleaner game imo.
