I couldn't QUITE figure out how to play though, maybe you could give a more detailed introduction, I'd be happy to come back and try again. So when I go to the merchant screen and buy something, nothing seems to happen. I don't know whether I successfully bought some critter food or not. Likewise, trying to drop food on the critter didn't seem to do anything... Of course, that would MAINLY be due to having that code in the game and working!\n\nI will be definately adding a 'sound' cue in the next game for such things as dropping food on the critters - that would help. Essentially you do get a visual cue when it works, but it was a very last-minute-rush \"ok just take 20 pixels from the center of where it is that's good enough I only have an hour\" so it really is very hit and miss. When you do succeed, the 'food' in front of pov dissappears.\n\nUnfortunately, buying critters only subtracts the money - it doesn't actually trigger an upgrade, as you should have also been able to carry a critter, not just food.\n\nI'll detail this more in the post-mortem. And I'll ... I think I'll release a final after this coming weekend (the Assembly demoparty in Finland.)\n\nAgain, very much appreciate the feedback. Glad you liked some part of the game, means I did the right thing releasing it 'as is' and not 'hiding it until finished' (:","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"nintendoeats","author_uid":"1033191","time":"2017-08-02T16:26:57Z","epoch":1501691217,"modified":1501691217,"text":"The graphics look nice, if a bit busy.
