Little advice, it's not usefull to press shift to teleport, just teleport the player when the ball collide ;)
Don't be sorry, be proud of you ! cuz you made it alone ! :)
I'll tell you what, it's nice for a first =]
Graphics were pretty pleasing and the power bar was surprisingly smooth =]
Things to consider though - no game restart when falling (a simple invisible floor trigerring death would be enough). I had to walk a little (on thin air) to exhaust power to restart.
Also a little weird design choice having the teleport all of a sudden, could be more challenging to make puzzles with it rather than using it as linear progression [even though the game's short].
I don't want you to deep dive of course but still I'd recommend reading about linear progressions and when they're good and when they're a little unnecessary.
Really good job, and keep it up!
P.S: No need to say to say sorry or anything like that, it's fine xD
Loved the idea! looking forward to seeing what you make in the next LD!
You did a good :)
Game was simple and easy to understand. While it didn't feel finished I could see potential in your puzzle ideas. For a first LD entry this is pretty good! I've failed harder and not even submitted in the past so kudos for actually getting this far! Game development isn't easy, but keep working at it and you'll make something you can be truly proud of!
See you at LD40!
