Speed Puck by Gunn3rboi

Speed Puck is a game that will test your agility with the mouse, the concept of the game is that you must hit the red pucks with the buttons on the left and right side of the screen using the mouse but the catch is that you can only hit 1 at a time so you must be quick in switching between the buttons.

In the top right there is two buttons the first is a switch for fullscreen mode and the second is for when in game to return to the menu or when in menu it will exit the game completely.

there are three difficulties each one has the pucks moving at different speeds, easy is a bit too easy, medium can be a challenge but i really recommend playing on hard and putting your mouse skills to the test.

due to the nature of the game when going fullscreen i didn't want the two buttons jumping down to each corner of the player screen making a huge gap giving an artificial challenge so i had to do some weird scaling things for fullscreen mode so needless to say there are some issues with graphic blurriness but all still functions correctly.

Would have liked to provide a mac and linux version but unfortunately in game maker although i own the exporters it still wont let you export to those systems without being on them, The provided windows version is not an installer but just a standalone .exe so no installs are needed.

Reminded me a little of Audiosurf and Guitar Hero a bit. What caught me off guard was the strange momentum of the pucks, maybe have their momentum the other way round, slow in the beginning and getting faster towards the end. This would have helped me personally in estimating when I needed to push the buttons.

Hi Phil, that feeling of them slowing down as they get closer is just an illusion due to the pucks getting larger, their speed stays constant from the second they are created.

thanks for playing the game!

I would of liked to have two buttons mapped to the buttons. The fact that you have to click the button makes it difficult to the point it is random chance if you get far or not.

pretty fun. did not see the purpose for fullscreen button when it still runs at same resolution if not worse.
