It's a shoot'em up ;) Gain energy by hitting and killing enemies. You shoot faster if you have more energy, but the game will also be faster!

Arrow keys or WASD to move Space or Keypad Zero to shoot Key 1 and 2 to activate special weapons (cost 10 energy)

Every action in this game is really satisfying for the player to execute, thanks to the attention given to the sound effects and animations. I really liked the aesthetic of this overall, the music/sounds fit the art style really well

Very nice game. Loved this one! I was fun to play the level design was great, the enemies were hard, but not too hard. The audio was very well done too. Very great game :)

Wonderful game. Brings back some good memories of playing <insert game name that makes me sound old>. Sounds fit, graphics fit.
controls felt slightly 'stiff'
a few times the screen got so full of enemy attacks, it didn't see a safe path at all - not sure if that was intended or not. given the limited use of powerup 2, it would have been nice if it did slightly more.

Finished stage 3 - had fun. Nicely done. Whole package felt well polished. Got too distracted by dodging bullets to remember to trigger the powerups. I thought the accelerating speed with batteries was a nice element to add a bit of strategy. Graphics and audio were really good and fit well, The only thing I didn't like too much was the checked background, but that was a minor thing. Excellent job overall

I only died on stage 2, so I want to officially contest the only-stage-3-is-hard notion.

As for the game, polished and juicy. Those little details really enhanced your game, like the enemy explosion particles changing colors. This game is really great, even more so knowing that it was done in 48 hours!

The gameplay is really nice and most of all satisfying - especially when shooting the rockets for the first time. The design of the enemy and their behaviour is also really nice. It still feels like it's missing something to really hook me - maybe less enemies in exchange for more movement speed?

@anudin put it very well, the game feels satisfying. Gameplay could have been better if it were more like classic arcade shmups, but the game feel is great.

Well done! The game is very consistence and run well. The graphics are amazing, and the sound did their job. The particle effect are nice too. Congrats on the entry.

I have had a lot of fun. The pace is good and the difficulty grows also at the right pace. Personally, I find the power-up system is cool but the theme of the LD 39 is not really here (nevermind after all).
Sprites (or meshes ?) are nice but more detailed backgrounds and props would be a nice add.

Fun little game, but I don't like that it slows down when you run out of power. It becomes soo slow like it's crawling. Also if you fly forward you can fly out of the screen and get hit by enemies that haven't appeared on screen yet. Otherwise nice effects and sounds. Well done.

Died once on stage 2, the rest was possible. "Release the kraken!" (hoping some would get this meme) is what was going on this game. The starting point on stage 3 was a little hectic because there are two incoming bullets. The power ups adds the fun factor, although near to the end, I chose not to shoot all enemies because the main point is to finish Stage 3 and you have it. The ambient-sort of audio in the menu screeches, not too irritating. Overall, I had fun smashing at this game.

Amazing game! Unfortunately I was really bad and didn't even clear the first stage. But it was fun nonetheless. Really nice graphics and sound.

I like how you can control the speed of the game with your power. You basically can go at your own pace.

Nice game. That was fun. I was expecting boss fights, but I don't think I would have survived a boss since I have barely finished the 3 levels. I like your color choice and the ambient music. What I found annoying is the fact that enemies can start attacking before I can move but It was not a big problem since I can dodge before the bullets reach me.

I love a good shooter, even if unoriginal. Altogether well done, but a bit easy. I completed all stages on the first go and didn't even get to try the powerups. I would have liked to see more levels and enemies.

Neat! Great little game for 48 hours. I like the sophistication of the energy and power ups (though it took me a little time to work out the difference). Nice work!

A good old fashion shoot'em up. I finished it after few tries (that means it's probably too easy, because I'm usually very bad with this kind of games :P) and it was fun, but I have to say that I never felt in danger about any lack of power. Maybe I would have, if fire had a cost. ;)
