Keep in Mind:
If you cross the end of the board you'll end up on the other side.

Some minor things, but the character hit box felt a bit too big, and made some of the platforming around the spikes a bit more frustrating than I think it should have been.
Also the lack of any form of penalty for hitting the spikes made the spikes that more annoying, since it meant they essentially only wasted time, and generally I most enjoyed the puzzle nature of this game compared to the pixel accurate platforming stuff.
Anyway those are obviously nitpicks. Overall this game is fantastic! Great stuff!
However, the puzzles were good and the concept great.
Graphics were of nice quality, and the fact the the cards have different backgrounds etc gives a really good overall feel.
It would be nice if you could work just a little on it after the jam to polish and reach more people!
Interesting entry.
Music and art style are awesome. Good job!
Here are my nitpicks (in addition to those mentioned in your original post):
* the platforming is way too floaty and not very enjoyable, especially for precision-based jumping
* the player should probably lose the sword on death, at least until they 'finish' a screen (the way it's the player may happen to fall to their demise and yet get the sword and still keep it scot-free
* if it's going for more of a puzzle-based approach, leaving RNG out-of it would probably be a good idea - a few times I was just 'refreshing' the cards to get the specific I wanted
I could definitely imagine this being a cool puzzler, each level providing a few given cards (and requiring to smash an orb once or something like that).
I think I got stuck off the top of the screen when jumping off the right of the screen to try to reach a high ledge and had to restart a couple of times, but other than that this was really awesome!
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.
