Theme: A Small World

You are waking up in your house, and a ghost is there, he order you to become the king of the country, but first you must get some food ...
Explore this tiny world, yet full of mysteries, and try to reach your final goal, getting the crown.

  • Move : ZQSD or WASD

Features

  • A complete main quest, with multiple phases, its should keep you busy for at least 10-15 min
  • Dynamical roof system, that allow you an immersive experience while exploring some creepy places.
  • And a lot more, we hope that you will find out yourself.

Known bugs

  • Some NPC's head may exceed from the roofs
  • If you speak to the the bottom guard, instead of the top guard(when quest is active of course), the escort can (rarely) fail, and in worst cases it could stuck the game.
  • The green fatty in the final scene is not a bug, he just have 1000 hp so keep fighting.
  • The HUD that blackens is not a bug but a feature.

We needed the 3 days to make this game, we ran out of time, and couldn't create all we wanted, but you should not notice it too much.

We didn't had time to add some sounds too.

Also since we have no graphist, there aren't good, so sorry for that.

A last disclaimer, we are french, and our english is quite bad, there will be a lot mistakes, sorry again.

That was pretty strange ! Congratulations for the content you were able to put in. I was stuck during the zombie war though, I think I killed one when he was talking to me, and couldn't close the dialogue frame after that. Bravo les mecs !

I'm amazed at the quantity of content included in this game considering its a game jam. I loved the day night cycle.I thought it looked very nice. I would maybe make the movement more fluid, and a little radar pointer pointing towards your active quest location would be helpful. All in all a nice entry, good job!

- @la-mecanique-du-plastique , indeed i didn't notice that bug , i found many other when i retried the game that so depressive ^^ Merci !

- @yetikatt , for movement i don't know, since it's tile based more precise movement is imposible, but maybe we could add something like animation for movement or i don't know, indeed .

However The radar you are talking about is alreeady in the game ;) , It's TOP-RIGHT of the screen a red bar with white extremity (look like a compass), the white side IS where the objectrive is, it disapear when you kill the king by the way.

and i found an anoying bug that break the radar for the whole game, it's when you do the quest of the farmer (then you are not supposed to steel any food), AND you steel food , in fields or at the market before talking to dad ghost.
then the radar update break and it become useless and stop updating with the quest.
