I marked it down to rate it when judging starts
Here is my submission: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/terminant
you could have done a win on the destruction of the other base (all your bases are belong to me)
animation may be slightly too long
many bug found (three on three game) :
crashed on attack with an error speaking about an uninitialized object :

gml_Script_scr_state_player_turn

could step out of the world because the character goes backward when passing turn during the movement animation
The controls felt just a little counterintuitive, but the scale of the game having been made in just three days was absolutely mind-blowing.
Maybe lower the selecting sound a bit, it tends to get unnerving.
Apart from that, the graphics are nice, music is as well, and the gameplay is simple and efficient. Nice job !

Have a nice day :)
Game has a cool retro vibe. Only thing I didn't get is damage model. Are you damaging based on the relative position, or randnomly?
If you have a time, try my game, AstroGunner: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/astrogunner
I liked this, but there was some negative design space with the enemy city. I reached it thinking I was clever, and nothing happened. Right now combat seems to be "Kick each other in the shins until the other falls over dead.", and I'd love to see the game take into account attacking from behind, and cover.
Gameplay is fun but could do with a bit more depth and thought going into the level layout but I understand the time restrictions, maybe if you continue to develop :)
Graphics are nice, sounds do the job of making it feel retro and the gameplay is smooth.
Great work
The only thing lacking for me was the lack of lifebar or feedback on how much an unit is damaged ( especially the tank one). Maybe have the units display their life over their head ?
Great game, keep working on it!
