Incredible scope for a single person team! The pixel art has the same charm as Advanced Wars and the game is smooth and well designed. I enjoyed tricking the AI into attacking the wrong things. I'd like it if the enemy team was more even, especially so I could use the ranged tank combat more tactically. <3

It took me a while to get how the point and click system worked (like what the white area around each character represents), maybe it's because I have never played Advance Wars. I don't know if the level in your third screenshot is actually in the game, but probably I wasn't able to see it because the game crashed at the end of the first level.

I marked it down to rate it when judging starts

Really nice game with AI. The game-play is simple but good.

you could have done a win on the destruction of the other base (all your bases are belong to me)
animation may be slightly too long

many bug found (three on three game) :

crashed on attack with an error speaking about an uninitialized object :

Ooh, super cool!
The controls felt just a little counterintuitive, but the scale of the game having been made in just three days was absolutely mind-blowing.

The controls are weird, and the game crashes on the second level if you move the tank forward and then attack the guy on the same turn. The graphics are nice and the whole game is a good idea and application to the theme, the music is also good. You could have used a little more polish to the whole thing though. Nice game!

This is nice ! It ended up crashing on my PC, but I played for a little while. This is great work for a single person ! :)
Maybe lower the selecting sound a bit, it tends to get unnerving.
Apart from that, the graphics are nice, music is as well, and the gameplay is simple and efficient. Nice job !

Have a nice day :)

I enjoyed the game.
Game has a cool retro vibe. Only thing I didn't get is damage model. Are you damaging based on the relative position, or randnomly?

If you have a time, try my game, AstroGunner: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/astrogunner

I played this on Livestream a Few Days Ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiOC3F43xF0

I liked this, but there was some negative design space with the enemy city. I reached it thinking I was clever, and nothing happened. Right now combat seems to be "Kick each other in the shins until the other falls over dead.", and I'd love to see the game take into account attacking from behind, and cover.

Nicely made game, no bugs found here.

Gameplay is fun but could do with a bit more depth and thought going into the level layout but I understand the time restrictions, maybe if you continue to develop :)

Graphics are nice, sounds do the job of making it feel retro and the gameplay is smooth.

Great work

Game crashed at the third level (cannot take any actions), but it's always nice to see some AW inspired stuff, nice pixel art.

The only thing lacking for me was the lack of lifebar or feedback on how much an unit is damaged ( especially the tank one). Maybe have the units display their life over their head ?

Very polished turn-based game! Hope you'll continue developing this one after the jam - more maps and units? Another suggestion would be to automatically end the turn when all of your units run out of actions.

Very fun and beautiful game. Loved the art and the music, the gameplay is really polished and brings well the experience of a AW game. I missed some feedback on turn pass and health bars, specially the health bar.

Great game, keep working on it!
