That's a really awesome entry! Awesome graphics! Awesome music! (and funny too)

I would have just wished for more depth (and challenge), but I guess it's only supposed to be **a small world**.

PS: I have found you btw!

Very cool! You're making me want to get back to pico-8. Great graphics, sound, and gameplay.

This game is surprisingly balanced for having just 48 hours, and never gets "grindy." Nice work.

Rad game, I love this. The gameplay, graphic aesthetic, and gameplay all worked marvelously together. I think you've really succeeding in distilling the essence of a genre into a minimalist package. The only flaw for me was that I found it a bit of a grind to gear up to the level 3 sword and shield, but once I got those completing the rest of the game was a blast!

Really nice! Like the boiled down mechanics and progression. One thing I did do was buy the first shield and then pick up the crap shield which replaced it, but wasn't hard to still progress. The alternate fighting texts were pretty funny. Also found the secret passage. :)

Awesome, very charming game. I love all the hidden secrets, and the purity of the mechanics

Nice! The graphics, use of the theme, music, and writing are all great and add up to a make an awesome vibe. Gameplay is solid and the RPG mechanics make it surprisingly engaging. My only complaint is that it's a bit tedious without any fast travel mechanic or anything - I stopped after dying a bit after heck, since it would have been such a slog to get back there. Better inventory management might be nice too, I also found the bug where the crap shield replaces the first shield. Still it was a fun game, awesome work!

I've enjoyed the updated version.

The game is fun but by the time I reached the daycare I can already kill everyone... and perhaps that's fine too, since i dont want to go all the way back to get better items.

what is that illusory wall, by the way?

i dont like the crap shield replacing the normal shield either.

PS, since I can't find the source of the game I can't really vote for this compo(!) game. Compo games **must** have source somewhere, as well as the original version of the game. Let me know when you have added them back, because I like the game a lot!

Perfect score, loved it! The only thing I really wanted was a way to go back through an exit after I accidentally stepped into it. Get's really interesting towards the end, can tell you were just having fun with it.

It's a tiniest game I've ever played, but it was really wonderful! This soundtrack is now playing in my head!

Everyone knows its a Goblin Crèche, but I know its a gamejam so I can overlook these small errors. Nice Game Will!

I really enjoyed this game, the simplicity of the gameplay, catchy music, and the color palettes are top notch. Definitely one of my favorite entries in this jam.

An interesting exercise in minimalistic user interfaces. You don't ever really need to "learn the controls".

On my first run I bought the first shield buy-able shield before finding the crap shield. Then I accidentally picked up the crap shield and lost the better one. :sob: (Perhaps the dropped sword and shield should appear in the map so that players can undo that sort of mistake?)

Any how, very nice entry. And congratulations on making it on to [kotaku](http://kotaku.com/paisley-princess-is-a-terrific-tiny-adventure-game-in-1795126973).

I'm not really into grindy games, but you were able to keep my interest until the end!

Really polished game, with great graphics and songs!

Nicely polished game! I would have liked to have seen an input buffer as the delay in movement kept eating my key presses, and I would have liked to have seen some strategy in the combat as it felt a little too simple for my taste. But good work overall, well done!

REALLY enjoyed this. Nice and simple and small-world-y, but with a decent amount of grindy depth. Great presentation all around as well.

This is an excellent game! You made the small size seem like a large-enough world; music is great, and the pixel art is perfect.
