I really liked this. It's an interesting mix of quick action and thoughtful decisions.

The audio and visuals are charming. The controls felt responsive, though the mode-switching mechanic on the gun felt uncomfortable to use and it would take some time to get used to it without it being frustrating.

I found myself repeatedly in a situation where I was out of bullets, the plants weren't grown yet, and I had nothing to do but stand there and watch until the plants matured. It would be nice if there was something I could do during that downtime.

Pleasant controls, nice graphics. One question : why not 2 different buttons to shoot different bullets ? switching between modes is confusing.

The game looks stunning! Well done, the visuals plus the music work together to make a super relaxing atmosphere in the game. The slimes look so quirky as they jump around and eat the seeds. Colour palette is also super nice.

This is a really nice game. The graphics, the unique gameplay, and the way it sticks to the theme really sell this game. I feel like it could be improved by changing the progression to something more interesting than just adding more slimes as time goes on. Regardless, its a phenomenal game! Great Work

@erasmus-crowley I didn't really think that the waiting would be that much of a nuisance as it ends up being 5-10 seconds since it only takes 5 seconds for a slime to eat a dirt pile. I also couldn't think of any easy solutions at the time. Maybe I could've added a slow auto bullet regen though.

@tontonpizza Part of the challenge is that you have to wait for the gun to rotate between targets. I wouldn't have been able to use a system like that without changing the way the gun aims.

@shinysteel I really like the slimes too. xD

@austino-bobino "the way it **sticks** to the theme..." heh

This game is intense. every time a slime gets on my seeds I gasp and constantly shoot it.

The combat systems is a little wonky and the map is limited.

The graphics, sound effects and music sounded perfect to the charming farming tune.

@allan-kong I tried to turn the unintentional intensity into lighthearted silliness through the music and the ambient noise. :P

I liked how the controls where responsive and dynamic.
The atmosphere of the game is really cute and relaxing, loved the tune !
But i have to say that the controls are a bit confusing at first (one touche to change the mode and another to shoot), but i finally get used to it.
Thank you for the nice little moment :) (lasted 166 seconds)

Really cool and cute little game! I love the graphics and the palette you used. The difficulty ramped up quickly, and I think I ended up using mostly the autoaim gun mode and I ended up running out of bullets and dying alone on my last remaining patch of slimy grass...

Controls are nifty and the difficulty ramps up nicely. I ended up surviving for 152 secs on my 2nd run through... Which is probably an awful score lol :)

Great job!

Your pixel work is beautiful and the music creates just the right level of goofiness to offset the intensity. I do agree that it would be nice to have something more active to do when out of ammo, and I had a little trouble keeping track of which mode my gun was in at times (maybe change the gun graphic to make it easier to see the difference). Neither of those things really hurt the game too much though. Good job!

A Great use of the theme. I'm glad you didn't make me have to aim hahaha. Could have been a little harder. I stopped many because I felt like i was never pressured.

How you shoot is a bit too boring when you miss the shot it seems that it was not your fault but the game.

The game music and artis great, a well done game.

Looks amazing! Saw your game on itch.io home page

@5spectra the idea is that you have to move around to get the right angle when shooting (so that the slime is on a direct course to landing on you). This makes it so that your shots won't miss. It's part of the challenge.

Nice graphics and audio! But I think that you should have made aiming with a mouse. I had some fun at the beginning but I got bored fast and session time is a bit long.

Very nice pixel art, but as many have said, the controls are very unintuitive. It would have been better to aim/shoot/interact with the mouse. But it looks nice.

It's super pretty. I'm really impressed you were able to make those graphics in MS Paint. I didn't know I could double jump though for a bit :grimacing:

@eric-schmiel I thought that people might not notice it, but usually people complain about my games not having a double jump, so I assumed people would figure it out naturally. :P

Also, pixel art isn't really dependent on your tool (excluding pixel art animations).

The graphics and audio are great, and it's really fun to play -- good job!

I think the tutorial could be integrated better into the game, but that's about it. My first attempt was a disaster, as I convinced myself I had to shoot plants to harvest bullets and couldn't reach the upper two platforms.

172 seconds, I really enjoyed this game, simple yet difficult, calm music, good art. I plan on beating my high score.

Fun game! Quite unique as well and it gets really difficult within a short amount of time haha.
Had a blast playing it, all of the aspects of the game go well together! I had to get used to the controls a bit and the mechanics but after that it was pretty fun to play.

Switching between the two modes was quite challenging especially when youre running low on ammo and a slime is standing on your crops. It would be nice to have some form of damage when youre out of bullets, maybe just a low damage hit or something.

I digged the game, good job, solid entry in my opinion :D

I enjoyed this game, the art is polished and the mechanics are easy to grasp. having limited bullets that have to be either used for harvesting or shooting makes an interesting twist and adds depth to the game. the only complaint is that I couldn't use WASD to move and the mouse for aiming and shooting (withouth the auto aim mode), that would have made the game even more enjoyable for me. good job!

202 seconds!

A really charming game that is simple to understand but not that easy to play. What impressed me most is how you managed to produce challenging gameplay out of simple elements: with good balancing of the crop mechanic and especially an interesting movement for the enemies, it all comes together quite well. Until we learn how the slimes jump and behave, it's easy to waste bullets way too early :O

The only moment when I find it a little bit less exciting is the endgame, when we're left repeatedly with no bullets left, watching slimes in despair as we wait for fresh bullets to salvage what we can. I find it heartbreaking everytime x) I have no idea how you could fix that though!

As usual great graphics, satisfying sound & fitting music. All wrapped in a good amount of polish. Nice job!
