The pixel art looked great and the sounds were good too. It would've been nice if there were some music.
Then, found it repetitive,
but after the 6th level, it becomes really really cool!
I played the levels, lost once or twice. No big deal, I'd soon be finished, I told myself.
After 10+ (20+? 30+? 200?) tries at level 13, I give up. I admit it, the AI is better than me.
I am just a mere, replacable human after all.
It would be nice if the mouse was locked to the window, or that you could toggle it.
Thanks for making this game, and keep up all the good work!
The Art is really cohesive, the controls feel good and the AI can get pretty tough.
Congrats on doing this in such a small timeframe. :)
Really nice work!
The only other nitpick I can think of is that on one of the maps you spawn right next to the edge of the map and if you're confused about who you are you'll immediately suicide. That should tell you the quality of the game if this is the only real criticism I can give. It's fantastic. Tons of fun.
Although there was no music, the sound effects were outstanding, especially combined with the visual feedback. Getting hit, firing or getting a kill all felt super satisfying!
If you like to rate our game, we'd really appreciate it! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/e-at
Cheers!
The platforms would be cool if you could fall down through them pressing down, it was hard to get to lower ground to get the pickups.
